Sure, Buffy has had some unintentionally funny stuff (especially in season one), but by this point I think for the most part both shows have found their footing enough that most of the funny parts are *meant* to be funny. There will still probably be exceptions to that (depending on your sense of humor), but for the most part we're past the point where the "serious" or "scary" parts are funny because they were badly played or executed.
