Thank you so much for 2021

Avast, me hearties! The new year is upon us!

2022 is right around the corner, however, I wanted to quickly recap this year, as 2021 has been quite the journey!

We completed 2 chapters of BSV

About 13 minutes of animation, a little over a minute-a-month on average. Despite not being a bad amount of productivity for one guy, this number could have been a whole lot higher had numerous other factors not cropped up.

I've contacted the translators from the previous chapters, and they're both down to translate again. I'll be getting on that tomorrow!

2022 has future BSV chapters (starting with 004) being animated with the help of a small team (optimally, 2 additional artists/animators).

Filming in Austin

A little over a month was spent in Austin on a film-shoot for Markiplier. I had a blast on set, but must admit, when I signed on I had no idea the length of the commitment. I thought maybe a few days max...clearly, I was very wrong.

Still was able to get some stuff done, and it was a wonderful experience. Can't wait for folks to see the final results (early 2022, I believe).

Had a Health Scare

Apparently, my expensive-ass insurance had a crap deductible, meaning my emergency room visit wasn't covered. Luckily, my future visits / tests / medications were pretty much negligible after the ER bill. And aside from a few residual issues, my health is better than ever (I think lol).

Here's hoping!

Moved to a House

As some of you know, I moved this year from a shared apartment to a solo house. The process of finding the place and sorting out the details was a bit of a haul, but it's over with for now. There will be some house repairs needed eventually, but for now, just trying to get settled.

I've had a friend staying here for the past few months, and she'll be on her way to her new home at the beginning of the month, leaving just myself and JoJo (the pup).

Got a Dog

Speaking of pup! I adopted a rescue puppy, JoJo. It's been something I've wanted to do for years, but never really had the right space (physical or mental) until recently. He's a little over a year old and definitely a handful. He is also adorable and wonderful and loving, but a bit of a nut...we're working on that.

2022 Goals

Would LOVE to get the rest of Episode 001 complete (chapter 004-006). Heck, in a perfect world, if the "animation team" works out well, maybe crack into Episode 02...but that might be getting wwaaayyyy ahead of myself.

Some time this month, I'll be publishing a post-release update video (like I did for 002) for folks not in the know about the behind the scenes like you guys.

Poster

I just ordered a ton of poster tubes today (I had some left over, but not enough). So I'll be figuring that out soon, as well. They look SIIICK!

Thank you guys so much for all your support and patience throughout this process and especially THIS YEAR, it's been absolutely bonkers and it means the world y'all stuck with me on the journey so far.
