BSV CH.002 | Pre-Release Preview (check your name!)

Hey crew!! We did it!! Chapter 002 is pretty much wrapped! Just getting final touches in before release in a couple days (I think... waiting on something).

In the meantime, if any of you so desire, please check your names listed in the credits. The video doesn't have them, but you can see them on the site (I just updated the patreon listing on the main page : http://ricepirate.com/ )

I've got the thumbnail done as well. So honestly this is pretty much wrapped (though I'll likely do a final pass on sound levels once all the lines are in).

In the meantime for ME, I'm already cracking into Chapter 003 :D

After the public release of chapter 002 I'm gonna drop a short update video kinda covering this chapter, the next, and the future.

But I'll just give you guys the summary now:

1) Chapter 002 was solo on animation. About 6 minutes long and took a little less than 4 months. I initially hoped to complete 3 minutes in 2 months WITH the help of a dedicated background and clean up artist.

Meaning, if I ever do get the support to hire on folks, this will most certainly move faster.

2) At one point I posited the idea of ending Episode 01 at the end of Chapter 003, due to the total length of those three chapters combined... but I've gone over the boards countless times and honestly, it would just ruin the flow and arch of the first episode (at least in my head it would).

3) something else?? I dunno... I know I'm missing something. My brain is jello right now lol

I hope you guys are healthy and safe. I know this Winter is kicking a lot of people while they're already down. Been a crazy year (including 2020 in that). I can't express how grateful I am for the support. I know I say that all the time, but I'm never gonna stop saying it.
