the event horizon approacheth ya'll

Since I started the Patreon a few years ago, my most common mantras y'all heard/read time and time again, "One more month ... almost there ... after this, I'll finally be able to ..."

Con apprearances, long-standing work deadlines, a divorce, a business, a death, three moves across the country later ... 2017 was meant to start with a line up of new long-awaited projects and a merciful send off of older projects.

Well here I am, 3 years and a million promises later, saying it again. "One more month." 

Currently, I'm in San Diego tending to Megan as she recovers from a fairly comprehensive knee surgery, so far the assistance has been pretty much full time, and while I brought my entire computer/cintiq setup, I haven't had much luck finding a window of time large enough to crack into stuff.

Here was my original plan of assault while in San Diego...

• Help Megan recover til Jan 10-25
• Somehow finish voicing SMG's Death Squared out here
• Finish a working public version of the SleepyCabin website
• Continue work on a network pitch
• Start work on the Youtube/Online 10-part series project
• Some design work for clients of my old business
• Finish Plague doctor toon
• Finish Batman toon
• Voicing for MASHED project
• Record a podcast with Stamper

Now... originally I thought Megan would be sleeping/recovering most of the time, allowing for large chunks of time to get some serious work in. It has quite literally been the opposite, as attention is needed almost every hour and I've yet to sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time.

That said, it's only been 4 days... and I'm hoping as she recovers and becomes more familiar with the daily routine, I will have more opportunities to get stuff done. Only time will tell.  

February will be my new and hard-and-fast starting line. Just gotta get through January. 

We're almost there ... just one more month.

Thanks for all the support, y'all. This whole whirlwind of a journey would have fizzled out into dust long ago had it not been for the patience and support from you guys. I look forward to making good on all the promises I've made over the last few years.
