I'm back from the vacation in Alaska. Thank you for waiting patiently.
Here's a new art for this batch.
This is the Tribute Art of a beautiful character from Overwatch. I decided to draw her because I think she's one of the most beautiful yet strong characters. The Tribute is done in my own style with few differences to the designs.
The portrait was originally done about 65% on IPad Pro, Procreate. Then finished in Photoshop CC.
Overall I had a great time working on this piece. Of course, there's few frustrations and battles a long the way with any art. Painting the metallic armor accurately to the material without over rendering was my goal. The key learning here was to not get so precious with the rendering. I got a bit noodley early and wasted some time. I decided to redo a lot of the rendering work by painting big and experimenting fast.
What I want to get better in art is keeping my confidence level high by not being afraid overall.
Anyways, Thanks for the support as always! This art along with future art creations are all possible because of your help. As long as there's strong support, I'll keep making Tribute Art and Character Designs.
