Consider how many $40 dropped to lower tiers if any and also patreon does that at the end of the month , gets rid of declines and such . If you lost $$$ and nor patreons then it's people lowering their pledges due to no more nsfw . If you lose patrons then it's patreon adjusting your numbers more accurately

Can't say I know exactly why the sudden drop in patrons, but just know that many of us still support your work no matter what it is. Maybe some were only interested in 'one' particular sort of content...

Likely to do with pledge changes due to your content change announcements & people adjust their pledges per month in general w/ Patreon that gets amplified once a new Season begins; since your work is well warranted towards being relatively popular, this time of the years your funding will indeed change a bit at this time. As far as NSFW, I think this time of season may play a factor in some people's having a "less content = should be less money" mindset, or some may think they won't be as much opportunities to learn how to draw better human anatomy in principle (regardless of the *execution* of the NSFW that sometimes immediately is conflated with pornography) because NFSW is deliberately avoided altogether. Nonetheless, your work I think is well worth analyzing in higher tiers towards learning or just appreciating, so I think your declination of pledges of $500 doesn't seem *too* bad.

I think it's just a regulation of your patreon actual global pledge. When you turned your account into Charging upfront, you got a raise in your total pledge. The income was not an estimation anymore after fees etc... It was your global pledge of all your patrons, declined or not. I think the system went back to the estimation system (you came back to where you were just before you turn charging upfront on. about 990 patrons and 5280$. You just "lost" 50$. You have faithful Patrons, don't worry!! :-) I think it's that...

Perhaps it takes time for Patreon to '' refresh '' the actual pledge amount displayed? And/or, perhaps some people were simply waiting this month out before removing their pledge or decreasing it. Since they might've been unsure whether or not you'd still do NSFW this month or was hoping that you'd change your mind? There were some people it seem'd, who were unsure whether or not you were going to do NSFW this month too or not ( altho, you were extremely clear about it. But some might not be able to read in English all that well ). I don't know why a sudden drop would be all that surprising even if that wasn't the case tho? Some people do support only for NSFW it seems, so if the NSFW stops. Then they'd drop their pledge right away all at once? Honestly. I can't even remember xD, I've been supporting with 10 dollars per batch for a REALLY long time now, pretty much since the beginning I think. But wasn't NSFW for 10 dollrs +? If that's the case, the people who were mainly interested in the NSFW but the other work too. A lot of them might simply have gone to 1 dollar a batch, since they're not interested in PSD, videos etc. They might simply want the image and nothing else.

Patrons might have quickly updated their pledges to account for your recent changes to content. I know I did as soon as you made your announcement regarding the removal of NSFW. It may simply be many people at once deciding to adjust their support before they got charged again for the old pledge amount.

not that i know of, it was just that since you changed the pledges, the ones people where signed up for where no longer there so I guess patreon just canceled them instead of changing them. but that's just my guess.
