Thanks for the feedback. I'd wanted to show his desire for prudence being outweighed by his panic at the time progression where he's at. Sounds like the execution there could use some improvement.

2023-08-06 17:39:40 +0000 UTCVir's impatience is taking a lot away from the reading experience. Yes, he's always been impatient. Yes, he's still just a child high on first love. However, remaining that way makes him static, boring, and frustrating. Its still very early in the arc, and maybe you have plans for him to grow. I'm hoping that's the case.
