Weekly Update #8

I can upload on Youtube again (if you get two strikes in quick succession, you can't upload videos for 14 days), although there is no video this time, sorry. I never intended there to always be videos but it kind of became a habit. I was out all day from 2 PM to 10 PM and had no time to really prepare anything. However, the news further down should make up for it. Take a look.

Giant's Sandbox

New version this week.

I know I've said to myself that I don't want to give out any dates anymore, since I've never really managed to get stuff out on time. However, I'm close enough now that I can say for sure that there will be a new version available for Patreon within the next couple of days. Furthermore I finally have a faster internet connection, meaning I can upload five times as fast. This will make patching the game much easier and faster for me, because I'm pretty sure that there will be a lot of bugs that I have not encountered myself. I can only spend so much time testing the builds. Also don't be surprised that it won't be called 0.0.6, it'll jump much higher, since I've added the next big thing, so it'll probably like 0.1.0. I also might sneak in another outfit for Cleo that I recently stumbled across, we'll see.

Macro/Micro Museum (Idea)

Ever since I thought about adding artworks from other macro/micro artists as framed pictures in Giant's Sandbox, I thought about making like a first person museum thing, where you can look at or even interact with all sorts of macro/micro related artworks. It's just a silly idea I had and I'm not sure if people would be interested or not. It's really really simple to make though, so it wouldn't take a lot of time and I can always expand it with new artists (with their permission of course). Would also be amazing to have a VR mode for something like it, although I still lack the hardware to make it. So, would this be something that people would actually look at? Let me know your thoughts.

Art

Well, I've uploaded a four page comic this week and I have at least two other pictures with Jenny in the pipeline. So look forward to more roobat. Other than that I recently felt kind of inspired to try my hand at drawing some Sonic girls, specifically Tangle the Lemur. She's a cutie. I just always had some trouble translating those characters into my style. I really just need to get better and faster at sketching, so I can try out lots of things.

Anything Else?

I've recently played Minit. It's adorable and fun. Imagine a top-down Zelda but you only have one minute to live. You respawn after one minute but keep your items. It's rather short but has replay value. Still you might wanna wait for a sale.
