Project gestalt was mentioned a lot in Nier replicant but I think origin of story can found in earlier the Yoko also worked called Drakengard I've yet play it myself hoping it will ge remaster or remake somday hopefully

The new sequence where 9s meets essentially an earlier ver of him was pretty great and that relislisation open the tower was nice touch I enjoyed it, It was thier in a different way in the game but it waaay later on
