2024-08-03 07:23:50 +0000 UTCI personally did start watching anime with shonen but I have never been averse to its common tropes and constant action because I view it as escapism and don't take it too seriously. But I think it becomes a problem when it becomes the only thing that can hold someone's attention. People will miss out on the best stories ever written if they cannot get enjoyment from character interaction and world building. I fear a lot of newer anime watchers might fall into this category and it could have a negative impact on the industry as a whole if fans cannot simply enjoy good writing. Yeah they will need to discuss the bosses for future arcs, I was just disappointed to see important info skipped again. But it will not have an impact in the short term. Yes in the LN unless you are rereading and already know who "that character" is it is easily missed! Glad it was included here as well! Future animations of that character will be top tier I hope

That is why Souei was investigating Viscount Kazak to begin with. We know that the elves have relocated to the labyrinth, so Zach is correct, and we can assume they will be joining the other elves on level 95. The Elf bar could very well be at hand!!!!

2024-08-03 05:41:15 +0000 UTCYou got me thinking, I didn't start watching anime with shounen anime. Maybe when I was really young, but I got really into it after a long break in my life. I watched mystery, supernatural, Sci-fi, fantasy, slice-of-life, some sports and shoujo. Maybe some seinen. I spent much more of my life reading all kinds of full-length novels and even non-fiction. So maybe I wasn't trained in shounen expectations. If I try to watch shounen, at least as it was about 10-15 years ago, I often lost interest by the repetitiveness of it all. ....... I believe they are definitely going to fill us in about the bosses later, just to save time here. It is important, imo. ....... I was surprised "that character" was shown, but "that character" is indeed mentioned in the LN at that point in the story.

I like to believe that they are just the 'loud minority.' The VA for Kumara is the same VA as Delta from Eminence in Shadow I believe! Fits so well! After being named, Kumara ended up with nine tails, so she is now an authentic Kyuubi! Yes it was a big upgrade! Remember, her tails are their own summoned beasts! So she has eight total now (one tail is for herself) I am hoping they specify the layout of the bosses a little more at some point in the anime cuz they entirely skipped it here haha they did not even say who Shuna and Treyni recommended :( The true MC of the series finally appears!!! What a great character Masayuki is haha Fuse really wrote in a parody of the Isekai genre into his Isekai! Narratively, Masayuki is basically Cid from Eminence in Shadow Us novel readers got a cool little 'If you know, you know' cameo during Masayuki's story! This is the first time we have seen this 'person' animated! I expect great things for their first actual appearance! Next episode is I think a recap but from Luminus perspective I guess?? Maybe it will be similar to the first episode 48.5 (the Diablo and Veldora one)?? We shall see

But poor guy, he's getting used to this Skill, but I wouldn't say he's fully embraced it. He wishes he could be himself, and have others see him for who his is. He kind of feels like a fraud. Some people are unaffected by his Skill. Yuuki is one. Another, at least supposedly, is Bernie, the follower who has the glasses ...... Kumara, I think she's got all 9 tails now. In the "wild" (not really) it takes many years to get all of them. Remember back in Season 2 at Walpurgis, her 3 tails became 3 beasts fighting alongside her, so this is a big upgrade. You will indeed find out who was suggested by Shuna and Treyni as floor bosses. That's all I can remember for now.
