POLL: Size of the updates

I just wanted to give you all a quick catch-up about the game.
The full outline of 0.5 is now ready, and the main events of the update are all written down!
This time, we will spend more time outside Eternum (aka "the real world"). However, you can expect a lot of different scenarios and situations as always! There will be 3 new H-scenes, and we will be able to continue the romantic progression with all the girls (as usual, some will have more screen time than others).
I'll start posting previews and news about the development very soon, so stay tuned! We'll be there before you know it! 🤩
Also, 0.5 will have the amount of content as the previous updates (a big one), but I wanted to use the occasion to make sure that my release schedule is to your liking. I can't work faster (nor slower! 😎), but I can continue releasing big updates as usual, or release smaller ones (less content, but more frequent).

But at the same time, I totally want to experience more content and binge for a couple days straight. That said. I hit the end of .3 and paid for .4 and was fairly happy with the amount of content in the update. I see you are now at 12%.. So I am guessing it is going to be a couple of months more. Can't wait.

Also, it's probably easier to remember what's going on when playing the content in larger chunks. Between each update, it's easy to forgot some of what was happening; that would just be a more frequent issue with smaller updates. Take your time and make each update a beefy one!

2022-09-24 07:43:36 +0000 UTCI'd keep it as is. Considering size of the updates you still keep pretty high pace. Just stop where it makes logical sense. In books chapter sizes are not entirely uniform either, some are a bit shorter, some a bit longer.

2022-09-23 06:56:09 +0000 UTCI really think big updates are best sure it takes a while but that gives you the time to polish things up and makes sure everything is great also lets you think of new things more often while you are in the middle of making said update (Ex: Being able to change the characters outfit when looking at relationship status)

2022-09-23 03:24:48 +0000 UTCI'd prefer big ones, even though they always seem too short anyway. Still, you're the developer: do the updates in the way that best suits you! Either way, it'll work out over time and you aren't likely to lose subscribers as long as the end product remains good.

Obviously it's not always the best choice since you really love your cliffhangers, but I think a balance could be struck if you wanted to put out smaller, less intense updates in between the big whammers. I would only really suggest it if you feel like you want to introduce a period of low tension development for the readers to tide them over, but in pacing terms you introduce those quite well with the current format of large updates so ultimately it's purely a matter of opinion.

On one hand yes it sucks not getting more, on the other the lack of more and having the knowledge more is coming will keep people coming back. You do big updates and make people wait months at a time, people tend to lose interest and forget.

It's nice to have an update around Christmas, but don't worry, the new year is OK too! By the way, next year's Chinese New Year is on January 21st, so it's a great New Year's gift whenever it's updated! Hahaha!

College party with Penny and Nova, Day of the dead with Luna's family, and maybe beach day with Nancy? And your release schedule is fine as is in my opinion. 0.5 for Christmas gift? Count me a good boy! My eternal gratitude as always. Can't wait for those sneak peeks!

I picked up Eternum shortly after 3 was released and couldnt believe how fast you were getting 4 done. Especially now after playing it. Keep up the amazing work

The rest all get updated either every couple or few months, the one that gets updated every month always leaves me wanting more content every update as I go through it quite quick, the other games take a lot more time for me to go through the content. I prefer bigger updates where theres more to go through personally but I am not too bothered as long as the story is there
