WPA Art: Wearing Cardboard Armor to a Family Picnic

Hey everyone! So there was a discussion a while back that sparked this idea of a younger Emma wearing cardboard armor analogous to her current power armor. The idea stuck with me for so long that I had to get it commissioned! The artist did such a good job with the whole scene, especially with the details on the armor including the little scribbled-on GUN logo that Emma probably drew on with some markers haha. So with that preamble out of the way, here’s an art piece that I’ve been super excited to share with you guys! :D

Also! I wrote a small little in-universe ‘story’ for it! Although I don’t really want to call it a story since it’s just a silly little back and forth written in the form of an in-universe group chat for the Booker extended family. However, I think it adds a lot of fun context to the art piece so here it is!

For reference, Elli is Emma’s mom! And the reason why she’s prefacing Aunty Ran’s name with “P” is due to Thai language honorifics where you refer to your seniors or elder siblings with “P” :D Or at least, that’s as best as I can translate it into English haha. Anyways, enjoy! :D
