Damn R.I.P Cordelia, it’s like closure because we finally know and see what she remembers but also getting a goodbye. Though, the way nobody else got a goodbye is :(. I am happy she got a chance to make an exit on the show because I truly thought they’d ignore her presence at this point. Like Eve said after a while there was no mentions of her. However, this was a good ass send off, hope her next journey is peaceful.

Sooooo, I found on YouTube a 14 year old interview where a fan asks Charisma directly how she felt about the way her character was written off in such a *weak* way during a DragoCon event. That was 5 years after the show had ended (2009). Without giving any spoilers, she said season 4 was her least favorite (actually she said she hated it lol) because it made no sense what Joss did to her character AND she specifically talks about the Connor thing and how she found it gross. Julie Benz (Darla) was there too and she jumped and said “I did not approve that either!” Haha. Charisma explains how Joss reacted to her pregnancy during season 4 and actually she truly tried to be gentle because she did not give too much detail. Now we know everything. She even mentions she said “no” when asked to go back. She didn’t expected to be in season 5. But she did it to give some closure to her character, JUST under the condition that they don’t kill her off. That somehow the writers leave that story open. Joss agreed, she signed the contract and then he said “hey, sorry, I know what we talked about but we’re killing you anyway”. It’s so interesting how she spoke up back in 2009 and not many people listened. That’s what I admire the most from the actress. She never stopped speaking the truth!
