A really cool trick that’s used by some ASMRtists is they will put earphones on their 3dios and tap the head band and the range of sound that results triggers sensations in the scalp area. I’m not certain why it is this way. I’m guessing is that it has to do with the relative distance of the band to the mics and the consistency of the sound which simulates the effect. I could be completely wrong. I’m also not sure if it matters if the headphones are currently on or not. It could be because the mic becomes more sensitive when the audio is looped in such a way or it might work either way.
