I've been working on polishing the new locations on the starting island, creating transformation potions, and a ton of icons. I should be finished with that by the end of the weekend with hopefully some time to work on more dialogue/events before the week starts since it's looking like a very busy one for me. Expect the final release of this version out soon to all patrons with the public release probably 3-4 weeks later.

There are many changes this update, I've probably forgotten to list a lot. I'm working to streamline the game by removing some overly complex grind and randomness. Tinder/Wood/Logs have been merged to just Wood. Fire is going to be getting some changes soon since system felt like it was still too bloated even after removing other materials. I adjusted the values of related passages to compensate. Many plants are no longer pure random and can be harvested from new nodes in certain biomes. NPC ...

I spent a long time trying to fix a major display bug that was screwing up transformation descriptions and in between attempts I added a lot more content. So this became much later and bigger than the originally planned feedback/bugfix update. If anyone is curious it was a single stray " causing all of my issues XD

This update was focused on updating descriptions and adding some more transformation items for testing as well as incorporating all the user feedback and bug reports of the past month. The goal was to add more content without changing major mechanics, add small details to polish things up, and fix all known bugs.
I've gotten some complaints that cooking doesn't work which I can't replicate after testing up to Day 7. If you have any issues please let me know specifics so I can fix it.

I'm taking a 'break' from massive overhauls and reworks of game mechanics. I now have a solid foundation on which to add new content. So long as I don't get writers block I'll be working on a lot more NPC interactions and events and some more hidden things to add some spice to the island. I'll also be incorporating a lot of user feedback and some balance tweaks.

If you survive long enough to craft some improvements you should be able to live a fairly sustainable existence for a while.
Combat
Combat reworked, a lot of rolls added to vary weapon damage/crits/effects.
Enemy special attacks have been buffed and can cause status effects.
New status effects: Poison (armor ignoring damage taken/turn) and Stun (skips turn).

I finished the new campsite passages and everything is finally working together well. It's ready for the final round of testing before I upload the new version.
I've been working on fleshing out the basic combat mechanics. Combat is going to be a bit more unforgiving, but not Dark Souls tier, remember you can always try running away. This update focused on improving the user interface, overhauling the entire island map, and adding events for the new areas. A lot of work has been done 'under the hood' that should ensure the next version is also a large improvement. The next update will focus on expanding crafting and combat.

This is a beast of an update. I'm too lazy today to copy over my notes and arrange them into a pretty changelog. Let's see, the game is definitely off the rails now, improvements across the board. There are more transformations, cooking, crafting, a lot more imagery including a ton of icons with tooltips, a few thousand more words to the story, additional lewd scenes, and a ridiculous amount of bugfixes.

With the release of .04 I am also releasing .03 as the first public version. Please keep in mind that the game is still early in development and I appreciate any bug reports so I can stomp them asap.
The story has advanced almost to the end of Day 2. Early AI mechanics have been added and there is another mob to fight. Many descriptions were improved and some icons have been added. Lots of balance tweaks and bugfixes.
