Sneak peek- Sparks T shirts

I’m going to be able to access my store starting tomorrow apparently, and these are the designs I’ve got ready to go- I wanted to show you all ahead of time 🥰 the concept for the first two are a ‘shoujo’ t shirt and a ‘shounen’ t shirt hahaha, and then I ended up doing the third one too because I wanted one that would work for a black tee 👀
I’m really excited- I never thought t shirts would be something I’d get to make, and I had so much fun designing them! I’m not sure what the quality of the t shirts will be like, although I did a little bit of research and Tapas is using Printful as their print on demand service and they seem to have good reviews, so I’m hopeful! I’ll definitely be ordering one of each for myself hahaha.

2022-03-28 18:15:22 +0000 UTCSo far it’s just shirts and tote bags- but I’d guess they’re using this as a test run and they plan to open it up to a lot more stuff in the future (they didn’t mention that but it would make sense), saying that though I still want to open an Etsy store at some point so I think prints/stickers/charms etc will be something I try and produce on my own!

So all I’ve been told so far is that they have a set ‘manufacturing cost’ (which I’m sure must include a profit margin for tapas as well) and then we individually get to set the amount of profit we want, which makes the final price. I’m guessing the manufacturing cost is probably already pretty high- looking at what’s in the store now most people are selling tees somewhere between $20-30 so I’m guessing I’ll end up setting mine in that range too!
