Chapter 381: I Want to See Rivers of Blood!

Perhaps it was because it absorbed too many Dead Men and the flesh and blood of the "Eight-Headed Serpent" during its formation.

This new White Queen's body seemed a little bloated and massive, a grotesque fusion of various monster features, like a giant patchwork monster. Only its head, with its fierce, bone-covered horns, retained a hint of a Dragon King's majesty.

"Hmph—"

With a long, drawn-out exhale, all the fine white threads around it instantly melted, turning into black dust and vanishing.

The Red Well and the deep Scarlet Oni River within it began to stir uneasily. The surrounding ground and subterranean water and lava for a hundred-kilometer radius started to bubble. If you were to look down from the sky, you would see that most of the volcanoes on the main island had become brighter, as if golden blood was surging and pulsing from deep within the earth.

You have to admit, regardless of how strong this "new White Queen" was, its entrance was incredibly dramatic.

Even Uchiha Hikari's own entrance earlier hadn't been this intimidating.

Hikari thought to herself that she should take notes, so she could have an even more impressive entrance next time...

Meanwhile, after scanning its surroundings with a cold gaze, the White Queen narrowed its focus back to Uchiha Hikari.

Even though its consciousness was still a bit hazy from being newly revived, its impression of Hikari was quite profound. After all, in its countless millennia of existence, it had never encountered another being that gave it such a strong sense of danger and oppression.

The first one to do that was the Black King.

The only thing that confused it was... the girl in front of it didn't seem to be a Dragon King at all. She was a pure-blooded human?

Had the world become this strange... that a creature like an ant could become this powerful?

For a moment, the White Queen felt a little disconnected from modern times.

At this moment, Hikari's lips curled into a slight smile, and she let out a gentle breath. Her eyes opened and closed, and two points of fiery scarlet chakra burned brightly within her pupils. An equally powerful and awe-inspiring chakra erupted from her body, clashing with the new White Queen's chakra from a distance!

The simple clash of their chakra signatures created a sound like mountains collapsing.

Then, a long, deep crack appeared on the ground between Hikari and the White Queen, stretching out in both directions to form a chasm hundreds of meters long that split the entire Red Well in two. Large chunks of rock broke off from the cavern walls and fell, kicking up a huge cloud of dust!

"...Gulp!"

The group behind Hikari, including Genji Shisei, all swallowed hard, their bodies trembling.

"Lady Hikari's true power... is this strong?"

"And that thing... Just from absorbing some bones and flesh, it can become a monster of this level?"

The pressure exerted by both the "new White Queen"—made from Herzog's corpse—and Uchiha Hikari was terrifying. Even for a royal-class hybrid like Genji Shisei, he could only manage to stand his ground with an incredible amount of willpower, barely keeping himself from collapsing to his knees.

As for helping... Are you kidding me? What's the difference between that and having an ordinary person try to fight two giant whales with their bare hands?

In contrast, Erii was the calmest of them all.

After all, she had seen her fair share of powerful beings—Im from the pirate world, the Namekians from the dragon world, and even her companions Esdeath and Yamato. None of them were simple characters. With them as a point of reference, the White Queen's power didn't seem as shocking.

Besides, Erii's own strength was also at a Dragon King's level, even surpassing that of her three siblings. In theory, she was the only hybrid there who was qualified to join the fight.

But Hikari had no intention of letting her:

[Unnamed @ Little Monster: Erii, you and the others should go.]

[Unnamed: The fight might get a little big. If things get too crazy, go hide with Bulma for a while and come back after everything's settled.]

[Little Monster: But Erii can stay and help... Okay, I understand.]

Erii obediently agreed.

As the two of them sent messages in the group chat, Bulma's attention was drawn to it, and she immediately sent several messages:

[Bulma: Huh? Hikari, didn't you say you were going to find the Dragon King's remains in Erii's world? What's with the fighting? Who are you fighting this time? Quick, turn on a live stream so we can watch! (shaking_voice.jpg)]

[Bulma: (bored_i_want_to_see_rivers_of_blood.jpg)]

[Unnamed: ...Where do you get all these weird emojis?]

At Bulma's insistence, Hikari turned on the group's live streaming function, adjusting the camera angle to a third-person view from a distance.

At the same time, she used her mind to control her teleportation jutsu, "Shangri-La," creating a deep purple transportation circle under Erii and the others' feet. With a flash of light, it sent them all back to the location where they had first arrived.

After doing all that, Hikari stretched her neck. With a cracking of her joints, she looked at the White Queen across from her, beckoning with a finger:

"Come on, Herzog... or should I call you Lord White Queen now? Let me see if you have what it takes to be a 'king.'"

"..."

The White Queen said nothing.

After a brief stare-down, their figures vanished at the same time. When they reappeared, they were several dozen meters away. Hikari swung a blade-like hand, while the White Queen thrust out a dragon's claw. The two, one big and one small, met in mid-air!

A massive wave of chakra spread out!

In that instant, Hikari's clothes billowed slightly, and the White Queen's scales rattled. A milky white, circular shockwave spread out, engulfing the distant corpses of Dead Men, the construction vehicles, and the cavern walls. Everything was twisted into an unnatural shape.

Then... another "boom!"

The White Queen had whipped its tail from behind for a side attack, but Hikari twisted her waist and blocked it with a swift and powerful whip-kick. When the tail and her leg collided, a second shockwave exploded. This time, it shattered the surrounding rock walls and blasted the corpses into a mist of blood that scattered into the air.

Dust filled the sky.

Hikari calmly smiled. "Is that all your strength has to offer? It's too slow... and too weak!"

"Come on!!"

With that shout, her fists and legs seemed to multiply into a thousand phantom limbs, raining down on the White Queen like a storm. The White Queen also fought back with similar speed, blocking most of the attacks while enduring the others. Its body showed signs of dents and cracks, but they quickly healed.

In an instant, their fists and feet had clashed thousands of times, their movements as fast as two shooting stars.

Because of this, the shockwaves from their blows overlapped more than a dozen times in a matter of seconds before spreading and expanding. From a bystander's perspective, a huge, clear cloud of dust and air, like a tidal wave, swept across the Red Well, completely demolishing the cavern walls. It then surged upward, bursting through the ground above to form a giant, sword-shaped pillar of golden chakra that shot up into the sky!

An infinite amount of light and heat erupted.

Thunder and fire scattered everywhere.

The Well of Buried Corpses, which had existed for who knows how many years, finally collapsed. As rock fragments fell like rain, a shockwave similar to a magnitude eight earthquake spread out from the Red Well in all directions, creating countless deep ravines in the ground!

"What's that noise?"

"What's going on?"

It was late at night. It was also rush hour.

Millions of office workers in various cities and wards—Tama, Hachioji, Kochi, Setagaya, and Ota—were leaving their pubs in groups, smelling of sake and ready to go home.

Then, at the exact same moment, everyone felt a violent shaking of the ground. Many stumbled and fell, while the rest sobered up instantly, yelling and running to open spaces or looking for a place to take shelter.

After all, this country is built on an earthquake zone. They usually get a few dozen earthquakes a year, so most of the citizens were experienced.

But... this earthquake seemed different.

Not only did it originate from the Tama area, where earthquakes weren't common, but the shaking was also getting stronger. It started as a simple magnitude three or four earthquake, but it was quickly climbing to a six or seven, and it seemed like it was going to get even worse!

"What the heck? Is the earthquake monitoring department just useless? They didn't even issue an early warning for an earthquake this strong?"

"This shaking is a bit too much, and it's happening right in Tokyo... Are we going to see a repeat of the Great Kanto Earthquake from last century?"

"Wait... look over there! Is that... an aurora?!"

As one young man shouted, the crowd turned their heads and saw the pillar of light erupting from the Red Well, shooting into the sky like a sword.

Against the dark night sky, the light was incredibly bright. At a height of almost a thousand meters, it looked like a beautiful aurora, shimmering and changing shape with the particles in the air. Some of the young people even forgot their current situation and started taking pictures with their phones, ready to show off to their friends.

Only a few hybrids with heightened senses faintly smelled something unusual in the air.

Chapter 382: One Punch!

Ding!

A rapid succession of text message alerts rang out from the pockets of many people in different areas. Someone pulled out their phone and glanced down; the screen displayed a mass text:

"This is the headquarters of the Shiki Family. The Young Master has given an order: all personnel are to immediately cease current activities, urgently evacuate nearby citizens, and promptly move away from the Tama City area! I repeat, this is not a drill!"

As the shadow emperor of the entire Japanese underworld, the Shiki Family was the collective leader of all Japanese yakuza organizations. Now that this leader had issued an urgent command, everyone who received the message, even if they didn't yet understand the cause, realized the gravity of the situation. A small portion remained rooted, while the majority began to carry out the order.

At the same time, Gen Zhisheng made another call to Uesugi Kengo: "Father, something has happened! The White King has revived and is currently clashing with Miss White King... that is, Uchiha Hikari. The battle location is Akakigawa, 50 kilometers from central Tokyo!"

"?"

Uesugi Kengo paused for a few seconds before reacting, then immediately asked about Gen Zhisheng's current status.

"...Eri and I are here, and we're fine for now. But the Red Well has completely collapsed, and I don't know what the outcome of this battle will be." Gen Zhisheng spoke quickly. "I recommend immediately lifting the restrictions on 'Kaguya-hime' and invading the Self-Defense Force's weapon systems at 100% power. If the worst comes to pass, we might need to make every possible effort to eliminate this newly awakened White King, to prevent a cataclysmic disaster for Japan."

"..."

"Kaguya-hime" was the Shiki Family's secretly developed supercomputer, possessing computational abilities similar to, yet independent of, "Nótt." If they were to use conventional means to mobilize the Self-Defense Force, even with the Shiki Family's influence, it would be a huge undertaking. However, with "Kaguya-hime," it might only take a dozen minutes or even less.

Uesugi Kengo hesitated for a few seconds, then nodded: "Alright, prepare for the worst. The specifics will depend on the situation there... You all act according to the circumstances. I'll bring people over immediately!"

Similar calls also occurred in several other places:

The Japanese government, which had just learned about the "earthquake" from the public;

A certain Executive from Cassell College, who had been an eight-year repeater and was dispatched for cooperation between Cassell and the Shiki Family;

And the Gattozzo family and other Dragon-slaying families, as well as the eyes and ears left behind by a certain chip-eating girl in Japan...

Beneath a seemingly calm surface, another storm, woven from various factions across the Dragon Race world, was slowly brewing and taking shape.

The Battle Unfolds

At this very moment, Uchiha Hikari and the White King stood suspended hundreds of meters above the Red Well. This battle, from its start until now, had barely lasted fifteen minutes. For both sides, it was merely a preliminary warm-up.

However, for the surrounding land, it was an unbearable burden. The Red Well had vanished. Not only it, but most of the ground within several kilometers around had collapsed, transforming from a mixed area of hills and forests into a low-lying, sunken "basin." Cracks extended radially for dozens of kilometers, with the deepest and widest parts resembling gaping abysses, swallowing unsuspecting humans and vehicles. Large amounts of rubble and trees were swept up into mid-air by the shockwaves, then instantly pulverized by the terrifying pressure emanating from the two figures in their standoff.

The Akakigawa and Tamagawa rivers had essentially dried up. Much of the river water was evaporated by the high temperatures generated during the conflict, turning into a hazy mist that permeated the air for thousands of meters around, like a layer of white fog.

In the thin mist, Uchiha Hikari stood with her arms crossed, her expression serene. Behind her floated the "Ame-no-Murakumo." She hadn't used the "Ame-no-Murakumo" in the battle itself. Instead, she was controlling it with her "ki," keeping it suspended behind her, while engaging the White King in close-quarters combat with only her bare hands.

There were two reasons for this. First, to enhance her presence. After all, a sword floating behind her looked much cooler, like the Truth-Seeking Orbs in Six Paths Sage Mode. Second, it was unnecessary. The "Ame-no-Murakumo" was indeed a divine weapon in the Dragon Race world, so sharp that even Lu Mingze couldn't withstand it. But Uchiha Hikari's palms and elbows, enveloped in condensed "ki," were no less durable. In the fierce skirmish just now, apart from a few torn corners of her clothes, she suffered virtually no damage. Therefore, there was no need to use a weapon; it would feel like an unfair victory.

"You haven't used your full power yet, have you?" Uchiha Hikari smiled faintly. "In front of me, there's no need to hold back. Unleash all your techniques. I will grant you a dignified end befitting your status, based on your performance."

"..."

The White King didn't respond immediately. Instead, it slowly stretched its body, its scales opening and closing like it was breathing. With this movement, bony spines protruded from its body, like countless sharp swords slicing through the surrounding air, creating swirling vortices like tearing space, appearing and then vanishing.

"You... are indeed very strong," the White King rasped, its voice hoarse and gender-ambiguous. Unlike the White King in the original story, which Herzog created by taking fetal blood, the current White King's consciousness was primarily the lingering regret of the original White King. The original White King was closer to a female in its designation, hence the somewhat indistinct voice.

"Since... that one fell, you are the first strong adversary I have encountered like this..."

"Is that so? Thank you for the compliment." Uchiha Hikari nodded slightly.

"So... unleash your full power as well," the White King let out a hoarse laugh and continued, "You may not understand our Dragon Code... The battles between kings are always to the death. Only one of us can leave here alive."

Similar words were spoken by Lu Mingze to Herzog in the original story, so Uchiha Hikari was not unfamiliar with them. However...

"Are you sure you want to witness my full power?" Uchiha Hikari tilted her head, glancing down with her peripheral vision.

She actually didn't mind showcasing the results of her Namekian training to the White King. But... she was a little worried that the land below wouldn't be able to withstand it. If she used too much force and actually sank Japan in this world, then neighboring China might not fare well either.

"Let's move to a slightly more open area."

Reckless Power

Facing Uchiha Hikari's suggestion, the White King across from her showed no intention of complying. Instead, it indifferently looked down: "Are you worried about the lives of those humans below? As a powerful being on par with my kind, you should stand high in the heavens, yet you worry about a bunch of ants. This is not how a powerful being should behave."

"If that's the case..."

"Then let's wipe them all out!"

Before its words even finished, the White King suddenly flapped its wings and let out a long, high shriek: "Word of Power: Tyranny of Thunder!"

At that moment, the clouds in the sky violently churned. Pulled by the White King's power, they formed a gigantic vortex. As the clouds collided, large and small bolts of lightning intertwined, showering down upon the ground like dense raindrops. In a blink of an eye, they formed a curtain of "rain," engulfing an area of dozens of kilometers!

Then...

"Word of Power: Blackflame Prison!"

Another high-level Word of Power. Pitch-black flames burned fiercely in mid-air, then transformed into dazzling fireballs that mixed with the lightning and crashed down onto the earth. The already battered Tama region suffered another heavy blow. Numerous lightning bolts and fireballs also struck several nearby cities, instantly turning the brightly lit urban areas into charred ruins. Large numbers of buildings collapsed in swathes, plummeting into the abyssal cracks like gaping mouths.

Uchiha Hikari furrowed her brow slightly and casually messaged Eri in her mind.

[Little Monster: Hikari, I'm here.]

[Nameless: ...Tell your brother to be careful, try to run west.]

It was only a fleeting thought in her mind. In reality, Uchiha Hikari sighed softly: "There was a mistake in what you just said, and I'd like to correct it first."

"Huh?" The White King was stunned. "What, you don't actually care about the lives of those ants?"

"Well, I don't completely not care. But that's not the point I want to correct. It's..." Uchiha Hikari paused, then exhaled and spoke clearly: "How did you conclude that you are on par with me?!

With that last sentence, a spark ignited in Uchiha Hikari's chest. And in a mere moment, it spread like wildfire, burning fiercely!

[Fire Thunder God: Flame Mode]!

More precisely, it was a "Super Flame Mode" enhanced by "Chakira"!

At this instant, an invisible wind blew Uchiha Hikari's hair high into the air. Then, her entire body became enveloped in a dense layer of "ki," making her appear somewhat ethereal and transparent. A crimson storm erupted from nowhere, sweeping out in all directions, and the moment it made contact with the lightning and flames created by the White King, it completely annihilated them.

Rumble rumble...

The ground shook violently. At this moment, tens of millions of people across the entire Kanto region felt a sinking sensation in their hearts, an inexplicable pressure welling up within them!

The White King also opened its eyes in astonishment, staring blankly at Uchiha Hikari. Just as it was about to say something, a beam of light appeared before it!

BOOM—!!!

One Punch!

It was just a simple, clean, and decisive punch, but in the White King's eyes, it was like a fiery meteor flying backward directly at it! It carried a heat as intense as the sun, igniting all the surrounding air and transforming it into a crimson ocean!!!

Chapter 383: The "Fire and Lightning God" That Bisected Tokyo!

In that moment, the White King was blindsided as if an intercontinental ballistic missile had just hit it dead-on.

It barely had time to react before the sheer, overwhelming force left its head ringing. Its body instantly became another fiery meteor, tearing through the sound barrier at dozens of times the speed of sound and blasting backward. It was moving so fast that its form shredded the very air, leaving a trail of crimson fire burning in its wake.

It wasn't until it had been thrown thousands of meters away that the White King recovered from the initial shock. It desperately flapped its wings, using its will to manipulate the surrounding wind chakra to form layer upon layer of thick air cushions behind it. It was trying to counteract the momentum and bring its body to a stop.

But…

Uchiha Hikari had already taken her first step forward.

This time, she slowed down slightly. As she gave chase, her body began to rise, and an ominous, dark red armor—forged and wrapped in concentrated chakra—began to form around her, encasing her entirely. It quickly morphed, outlining intricate bones, muscles, and sinews, and in a blink, she had manifested a colossal Susano'o over a thousand meters tall!

Then, Uchiha Hikari, controlling this massive Susano'o, gripped the long spear forged from the "Fire and Lightning God" in both hands, performing a thrusting motion.

"Hundred and Eight Stages..."

"One-Shot Meteor!!"

CRACKLE—!!

A single point of cold, sharp light appeared.

Then, a gigantic roar, like a landslide and a tsunami combined, exploded in the sky as the spear's tip launched forward!

That night, most of the people in Tokyo witnessed the spectacle in the sky—a colossal fire-and-lightning giant, thousands of meters tall and appearing even more majestic than Mount Fuji itself, thrusting a spear from the outskirts of the city. The spear's shaft extended for tens of thousands of meters, like an ancient dragon, piercing through the dark sky above Tokyo's 23 wards and pinning a monster that looked like the Eight-Headed Serpent into Tokyo Bay, right by the international airport!

As this happened, a milky-white shockwave turned into a Category 12 hurricane, spreading out on both sides of the spear's path!

In Kōtō, Setagaya, Yokohama... nearly all the glass in Tokyo's 23 wards and a good portion of Yokohama City shattered at once. Streetlights across countless blocks exploded, plunging the city into darkness, and a massive flow of high-energy particles reverberated through the vast space, temporarily knocking out all communication devices!

The scene looked exactly like the end of the world straight out of a mythological prophecy.

"No way, this... this can't be real, can it?"

In the airspace west of Tokyo, Jiude Mai, who had just hijacked a bomber from a military airbase in Yamanashi Prefecture and flown it here, froze midair. She stared blankly at the magnificent fire-and-lightning giant in the distance, which looked even grander than Mount Fuji, and began to question if she was dreaming.

She had received a call from her boss on the way, telling her that the mysterious "White King" was behind the sudden earthquake. Because the White King was helping her "useless older brother" with some emotional problems and couldn't come immediately, she, who just happened to be on vacation in Japan, was asked to check out the situation and see if she could link up with Uchiha Hikari to lend a hand.

But...

Wasn't this getting a little too out of hand?

What business did she, a regular A-rank shinobi whose Genjutsu: Meisho had no direct killing power, have in a fight of this magnitude? Not to mention, if she flew any closer, she was pretty sure the shockwave would kill her instantly.

Whoosh—

Jiude Mai quickly lowered her altitude, parking the bomber on the rooftop of a hundred-meter-tall building nearby. The moment she got out of the plane, she heard a gust of wind blow, and the bomber's front and back windows shattered. The long wings of the plane flexed and curled slightly in the powerful wind, looking as if the whole thing was about to be blown right off the rooftop.

"Tsk tsk..."

"So this is what a true Dragon King is like? Compared to this, those S-rank shinobi are just a bunch of unweaned babies."

Jiude Mai crouched on the edge of the rooftop, squinting her eyes as she looked toward the fire-and-lightning giant at the source of the storm. "I feel like this giant looks a little familiar... did it show up in some TV show?"

"...That's gotta be Ultraman!"

High up on the Tokyo Skytree in Sumida Ward, a young tourist stared at the sight above, his jaw agape. After a long moment, he managed to stammer out a sentence.

Someone next to him, after a moment of stunned silence, immediately disagreed.

"That's not right. Ultraman wears a suit. This armored look is more like Gundam... Wait, doesn't it kind of look like a Susano'o from Naruto?"

"A Susano'o? That's impossible, the size is way too different."

"If we're going by size, only a divine transformation that mimics the heavens and earth from Chinese mythology would fit. Is that red weapon the Ruyi Jingu Bang?"

"...It could also be the Positron Cannon from EVA."

Compared to these people inside the Skytree who were only hit by the residual shockwave, the residents near Tokyo Bay were not so lucky.

In less than a dozen seconds, they heard a loud BOOM!

The White King, having just crashed into the ocean, sent up a colossal wave. The sea level briefly dropped before rising again, turning into an overwhelming tsunami that crashed against the shore, quickly swallowing up the cities of all sizes around Tokyo Bay. The once-peaceful metropolis was quickly becoming a flooded wasteland.

Amidst the terrified screams and shouts, Uchiha Hikari twirled her spear, "Fire and Lightning God," before dispelling it. She then took a single step, tearing a hole in space to get from the Tama region to the sky above Tokyo Bay.

Once she arrived, the Susano'o on her body had shrunk to a normal size. With her own hands, she opened her palms and pressed them down gently toward the ground. The surging tide was immediately pushed back and froze solid in a matter of seconds.

This ability to rapidly heat and cool things down is a basic application of chakra, making it easy to accomplish things like this.

On the other side, the White King in the bay also unleashed its own powerful ice jutsu, "Ice Release: Emperor's Domain," causing a powerful ice field to expand and envelop the entire sea for dozens of kilometers.

As the two of them combined their efforts, all of Tokyo Bay was blanketed in white. Frost bloomed like a giant snow lotus, spreading as far as the eye could see. Myriad petals of ice curled up toward the sky, reflecting the bright moonlight and making the figures of Uchiha Hikari and the White King stand out dramatically.

Padang—

Uchiha Hikari floated down and landed lightly on the ice, her feet touching down as she looked across at the White King.

"Can you still get up?"

"..."

The White King didn't answer.

Right now, it looked incredibly battered, like a fish that had been scaled. Its own scales, exoskeleton, and wings were full of holes. Hundreds of its thousands of bones were broken, and now these injuries were being mended by some kind of super-powered cells, similar to nanomachines.

But the healing speed was noticeably slow.

It was only then that the White King finally understood what kind of opponent it was facing.

The only fortunate thing was that while these injuries were severe, they weren't fatal for a Dragon King with such incredible regenerative abilities. And the White King still had a trump card it hadn't used yet, one it just needed an opportunity to unleash...

After taking a deep breath to build up its power, the White King suddenly opened its mouth and let out a sharp, piercing shriek.

The shriek tore through the surrounding air, sending waves of shockwaves forward. Simultaneously, a thin, sharp needle, not directed at the physical world but a direct mental attack, emerged in the roar. It crossed the several hundred meters separating them in an instant and pierced straight into Uchiha Hikari's mind!

Chapter 384: A Sword that Opens the Gates of Heaven!

That move was the White King's "mental authority," a power far more noble and powerful than the four elemental forces of earth, water, fire, and wind. In theory, it could completely destroy a person's consciousness, or at the very least, leave them stunned for a moment.

Capitalizing on the instant Uchiha Hikari's steps faltered, the White King's figure rushed forward like a storm, lunging a claw towards her heart!

Snap!

The dragon's claw was stopped barely an inch from her heart, caught firmly by another slender hand that grabbed its wrist. It was completely locked in place, unable to move an inch. It tried to struggle free, but to no avail.

"...That's impossible!!"

The White King's eyes trembled, its face filled with disbelief. "No one could remain unaffected by a mental attack of that magnitude, unless you are the Black..."

"My apologies, I am not the person you imagine. I just happen to possess the same 'mental authority' that you do." Uchiha Hikari smiled.

For more than half a year, she hadn't just been training her physical body; she had also honed her mental power to an astonishing degree. Through meditation, combat, and even a direct absorption technique, she continuously increased the total amount of her mental energy while constantly purifying and refining it.

After all that hard work, her Sharingan's pupil power had steadily risen to a truly remarkable level.

If it were the White King from a few epochs ago, at the peak of its power before being executed by the Black King, it might have been able to make her lose focus for a split second with its vast, accumulated mental power. But this mere defective copy, born from a "sacred corpse"... it wasn't even close! The difference was like that between heaven and earth!

In an instant, Uchiha Hikari let out a breath. Digging her feet into the ice, she tightened her grip on the White King's wrist, twisted her waist, and spun the creature around on the ice before flinging it high into the sky!

The White King's reaction was swift. After realizing that its "mental spike" had almost no effect, its last shred of hope shattered completely. Deeply aware that Uchiha Hikari's strength surpassed its own in every way and that continuing the fight would likely mean its own death, the White King finally decided to abandon all pretense.

Using the momentum from being thrown, it broke free from Uchiha Hikari's grasp and shot straight into the pitch-black night sky—a clear, pre-planned escape route!

In a matter of moments, the White King was hundreds of miles away.

Uchiha Hikari stood still, looking up in the direction of its escape, silently calculating the distance between them.

Only when the White King's figure was about to vanish from sight did she blur slightly, then instantly crossed tens of thousands of meters, appearing in the night sky high above the White King. From an altitude of nearly 30,000 meters, she looked down, with the bright moon shining behind her!

Under the moonlight, a giant Susanoo thousands of meters tall appeared once more. Three pairs of fiery-red wings spread from its back, and a huge, two-handed greatsword, like a torch, gradually extended from its grasp. These were, of course, forged from her "Katon: Raishin" (Fire-Thunder God) chakra and were held tightly in her hands, raised high above her head.

Even though she hadn't made her move yet, her "aura" had firmly locked onto the White King. No matter where the creature was, it could feel her presence.

Then, she aimed at its location, tightened her grip, and brought the blade down.

"This one is called..."

"Divine Retribution!!"

More apt than the "Rod of God" from the original story, this was a divine punishment from the heavens themselves!

The next moment, the greatsword fell, trailing clouds and flames behind it!

The White King's escape speed was impressive, and it constantly twisted and turned in the sky, trying to evade the strike.

However, Uchiha Hikari's sword had an immense range.

From an observer's point of view, the "Katon: Raishin Susanoo" simply traced a perfect arc in the night sky, like drawing a sun-disk under the moonlight, or like a single strike from an ancient legend that could cleave the gates of heaven open. The blow encompassed several square kilometers of the ocean below. The White King, flying thousands of meters in the air, was struck directly on the shoulder and was crushed downward, plummeting rapidly into the sea.

The White King tried to struggle free even then, but the extreme heat from the "Divine Retribution Sword" had already engulfed its body, rapidly burning and incinerating its hard scales. To an observer, it looked as though the White King's entire body was on fire.

Finally...

BOOM—!!!

The greatsword, nearly 20,000 meters long, pierced the sky and earth, dragging the White King with it as it crashed into the Pacific Ocean. It tore a hole through the calm sea, creating a deep, thousand-meter vortex on the surface. Raging waves surged up and turned into a torrential downpour, followed by a massive tsunami that began to build!

If nothing interfered, that tsunami would reach Japan's coastal areas in a few minutes.

"It's over..."

Uchiha Hikari felt the White King's presence being swallowed by the ocean, its energy quickly fading. Judging that the creature was on its last breath, she let out a sigh of relief, released her hands, and allowed the chakra armor to dissipate.

She waited a moment to collect herself.

Then, she heard applause from behind her, followed by a little boy's voice: "Splendid. A true war of the ages."

"..."

Uchiha Hikari glanced back and saw a small boy in a black suit behind her, watching her with an old-fashioned expression. It was Lu Mingze, whom she hadn't seen in a long time.

"It's you."

"Long time no see. You're not off playing your games with your big brother anymore? You actually had time to come here?"

"Uh..."

Lu Mingze's voice trailed off. He skipped over the topic of his brother, Lu Mingfei, and changed the subject. "I'm here because of a friend, of course. Judging by your appearance, you've had some new experiences in other worlds recently? The last time we met, you were only a bit stronger than Xia Mi and the others. I never expected you to...

"Truly astonishing."

The last time they met, Uchiha Hikari had revealed a little about her origins and her identity, so Lu Mingze knew about the existence of other worlds. He was even able to deduce which worlds she had visited based on the abilities she had shown and the people who had come with her to the Dragon Raja world, like Esdeath.

However, knowing was one thing; seeing it with his own eyes was another. With the power Uchiha Hikari had just displayed, even he, in his full power from tens of thousands of years ago, couldn't guarantee a win. Therefore, Lu Mingze's tone was a little more respectful now.

Uchiha Hikari exchanged a few pleasantries with him, giving a brief update on her situation without revealing too many details.

After the small talk, Lu Mingze continued, "Let's talk about Odin. I apologize for not telling you earlier, but I've located him. Herzog's schemes against the White King over the past few years were largely orchestrated by Odin behind the scenes. So, it's very likely he's been watching this event, and he might show up in our sights soon..."

"Oh, I see." Uchiha Hikari nodded.

She could roughly guess Odin's intentions. However, she no longer cared much about him. After all, no matter how impressive this "Odin" seemed, he was essentially just a conniving old schemer who hid in the shadows, not much better than Herzog—or rather, a slightly upgraded version.

In the original story, he only gained significant power after absorbing the Dragon Bone Crosses of Fenrir, Norton, and the White King. And even then, he wasn't all that impressive. Now, the twin siblings were still alive and their identities weren't exposed, and the White King was claimed by Uchiha Hikari. If Odin could still cause trouble under these circumstances... well, he'd have to be a multi-world traveler himself.

"...He should be in this direction."

Uchiha Hikari closed her eyes slightly, using the "aura" she had left on the White King to sense its fading presence, like a dying candle, and its final location. She planned to leave the White King's corpse at the bottom of the sea for a few days to see if it would bait Odin out.

The dragon bones wouldn't decay quickly, and the creatures of the deep wouldn't dare approach it until the dragon's aura dissipated.

If it didn't bait anyone out, she could always fish the bones out later and make a nice soup to share with Erii.

"Oh, right, here." Uchiha Hikari thought for a moment, then pulled out two vials from a universal capsule and tossed them to Lu Mingze. "I said I'd get you some materials related to the Six Paths Sage, but I haven't been able to yet. These two vials contain cell samples from the Saiyan, Kakarot, and a Namekian. Think of them as a return gift and a little compensation."

The return gift was for the fragments of time manipulation he had given her last time. The compensation was for the White King's Dragon Bone Cross.

After all, at its core, anything related to dragons was considered Lu Mingze's "property." While Uchiha Hikari could just take it by force, she saw herself as a traveler, not a conqueror. In a non-confrontational situation, it was only right to show some respect to the master of this world.

"...Alright."

Lu Mingze hesitated for a moment before accepting Uchiha Hikari's conditions for the trade.

"I'm heading out now," Uchiha Hikari waved. "It's getting late, and I should be getting back to bed. Let's talk again sometime. I remember you set up a blackstone mansion here, right? Maybe I'll bring Erii over to visit sometime?"

"Oh? You even know about that?" Lu Mingze raised an eyebrow, then smiled. "You're more than welcome."

Chapter 385: The Cult of the Flying Red Flame God

With that, the two parted ways on the sea and went their separate ways.

Uchiha Guang returned to the heart of Tokyo. After a quick remote chat with Eriyi through their group chat to confirm her location, he used a Flying Thunder God Technique to instantly appear by her and Genji's side, bringing her back to Genji Heavy Industries. From there, it was a peaceful night of washing up, taking a long bath together, and getting some much-needed rest.

Uchiha Guang was sleeping soundly, but for the people of this world, the night was destined to be a historic, sleepless one.

The tsunami that washed over Tokyo Bay was a massive event in itself. However, compared to the original crisis that nearly drowned all of Japan, this one was actually much smaller. The earthquake beforehand didn't last too long, either. While it did wipe out a large number of buildings in the Tamagawa area and along the coast, the number of casualties was relatively limited.

What truly kept everyone from sleeping was the supernatural phenomenon that countless people had witnessed with their own eyes—or, perhaps, it was more appropriate to call it a divine jutsu

An enormous flame-shrouded figure, taller than Mount Fuji, appeared out of thin air. It moved with incredible speed, carrying mountains and crossing seas, covering thousands of miles in a flash. A single strike from its massive spear tore across Tokyo, and another slash from its sword cut down a target tens of thousands of meters tall.

These are the kinds of events that normally only appear in ancient myths and legends. If a clan wasn't known for its incredible storytelling, they probably couldn't even describe a spectacle this grand.

But now, it had happened for real, witnessed by tens of millions of people: Japanese office workers and officials from all walks of life, US soldiers stationed at various bases, Chinese people living, studying, or traveling in the Kanto region, as well as tourists flying over Japan that night and people on various boats and fleets.

A massive amount of high-definition photos and videos, accompanied by text descriptions, went viral, and the result was an explosion of activity on the internet across the world.

Keywords like #GiantOfLight, #ChakraGod, #AncientGodsRevive, #KantoQuake, and #JapanTsunami were searched hundreds of millions of times by people from every country within just 24 hours.

All sorts of vaguely familiar myths and legends, especially from East Asian countries, were dug up. They were translated into different languages, and people began analyzing the videos frame by frame, sentence by sentence, making all kinds of serious guesses about the identity of the "Red Giant." The surge in traffic was so intense that it fried a dozen servers.

Many religious leaders, upon hearing the news, immediately flew to Japan to search for traces left behind by the so-called "god" and tried to claim it for their own faiths.

Others, however, seized the opportunity and founded a new faith: the Cult of the Flying Red Flame God. The "God of Red Flame" was their name for the red giant that Uchiha Guang had manifested. This new cult, which looked like a sister to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, attracted about 500,000 followers within just a few days. Many of them were devout followers of other religions, but they didn't hesitate to abandon their old beliefs and embrace the "Red Flame God."

This was understandable. While most major religions had stories of "miracles," they were either tales from ancient scriptures or just cheap parlor tricks. But that genuine, awe-inspiring red giant—taller than Mount Fuji and wielding a sword thousands of meters long—was the real deal. It was a clear demonstration of power that made it impossible for people to ignore.

Unfortunately, this world doesn't have a system where worship grants power, so Uchiha Guang couldn't draw strength from her new followers.

Of course, a small group of rational thinkers tried to explain the event with scientific concepts, mentioning "mass hallucination," "light shows," or the "Hydra effect"—oops, the "Man Utd effect." Others even suggested that the red giant was a "high-dimensional being" from another world.

In a way, that last guess was actually the closest to the truth.

Compared to the clueless masses, the Hybrids had more information. They were quick to connect the event to dragon activity and speculated that the Black King had been resurrected. After all, the red giant they saw that day had nothing to do with dragons, but the history of their world was built on them. Countless ancient scrolls and ruins proved this, so how could a being with power rivaling the Black King suddenly appear, one completely unrelated to dragons? It couldn't really be some ancient god, an Old One, or an alien invasion, could it?

Because of this, the Secret Party and Cassel quickly sent people to the Japan branch to question the Sakura Eight Families. Angers, the Gatuso family, and Hahn, among others, were also personally on their way, all wanting to get the first-hand information before anyone else.

While Uesugi Yui was being hounded for answers, Uchiha Guang finally returned to the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan and retrieved the White King's Dragon Bone Cross

She had originally planned to use it as bait for the big fish, Odin. However, for whatever reason—maybe her show of power that day was just a little too overwhelming—Odin never showed up in that area. Instead, fleets from the US and Self-Defense Forces, along with some "civilian salvage teams" made up of Hybrids, explored the area but failed to find the White King's remains.

Since that was the case, Uchiha Guang decided to stop worrying about Odin and dove into the sea herself. She salvaged the White King and began to figure out how to "boil it into a soup." She initially planned to call Xia Mi and ask how to "eat" the Dragon Bone Cross, but Lu Mingze showed up on his own again and provided some much-needed technical assistance.

"So, are you really going to give the White King's authority to that little girl next to you?" Lu Mingze asked, glancing at Eriyi with a subtle expression. "To be honest, her mindset is a bit younger than her peers. She's not really ready to handle the power of the White King. If you're just trying to solve her bloodline issues, I've got other ways to help you. You don't have to give her the White King's Dragon Bone Cross."

"It's fine, I've already got a plan," Uchiha Guang replied. She paused, then added, "Eriyi just lacks experience; she's not dumb. With proper guidance, she'll know how to protect herself just fine. To be honest, I think your brother is the one who's a lost cause."

After all, at this point, Lu Mingfei was likely in the midst of his simping phase for Nuonuo and would be for a long time. With the story arcs of Xia Mi and Eriyi both changed, it was a toss-up whether he'd even get to use his four lives.
