Opinions greatfully appreciated
Added 2025-04-08 15:48:59 +0000 UTCSo as of next month I've been able to adjust my full time job to allow me to have an additional day off every week. This means that over the course of the month I'll be able to put in an additional 30hrs per month meaning that I'll be able to create an additional model every month. I don't want to take away from what I'm already offering with 2 models every month and a free bonus so that will continue. I'm looking to create the forth model as a new tier - where you can upgrade to and have the additional sculpt for only a little more per month. Looking at ZEZ, OXO3D, ABE3D etc, they all seem to be charging a fair bit more than I currently do but I don't want to take the mickey and get anyone's back up. What I am proposing is the new tier will be priced approx $10-12 and will include the 2 sculpts, 1, sometimes 2 additional bonus sculpts as is included in the current membership AND the additional new 3rd sculpt. I'd like to know how people feel about this, if it's something you'd upgrade to or, is it too much to charge? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I value all the member opinions and want to do what is best for the community but also bearing in mind that I will be taking 30+ hrs a month to create more work.

Thank you Danny. It's pretty much 6.5 USD for 3 models per month as I get a bonus out most months too!!! 😅

2025-04-16 11:10:19 +0000 UTCI think you have prices too low tbh. 2 figures for 6.5 USD, that's way to cheap. I know you want to have affordable prices and competition is big but you should value your skills little bit more.

2025-04-10 09:52:04 +0000 UTCThank you for your reply Ed, I think what i have gathered so far from the feedback of everyone is that the best option going forward is to have the new tier but at a slightly lower price point that what i had mentioned. Those who are currently happy will remain as they are and as the new tier will be sent out to those who have upgraded, the standard tier does not even need to be informed of what they are missing. everything continues as normal. for those upgrading, the usual files will come from the standard tier along with an additional DM with the new additional model. Maybe there is a way to offer the new model to existing members but through Gumroad at a % discount if you are a standard member.??

I think it was suggested a few months ago that you could offer an additional tier for those who simply wanted to give you more support with no extras promised or expected. Now you’re suggesting a higher tier with extras, so what’s not to like. Members have the option to stay where they are at or upgrade. Seems like a simple choice. However, I think the extras should only be available if members commit to the higher tier. If you’re cutting back on your full time job in order to create those extras, then ideally you would get committed support in return. [My two cents probably worth 1/2 a cent] ;-)

As i generally like most of what you put out . As another option maybe a loyalty bonus for 3 ,6 ,12 months or even any one who joins the new tier gets a discount code for your gumtree models ?
