Body, beads, and light
Added 2024-06-01 16:39:01 +0000 UTCI love how intimate some of these images feel. Especially the second and third photo. I don't think I've ever shot myself so close up. It's funny how even when I'm alone and shooting myself, and not even fully nude, I can feel so exposed and vulnerable.
I really just wanted to focus on lighting myself well and shooting with intention- really taking the time to fine tune the composition. I'm also obviously obsessed with this top- I love how the pearls bring a sense of femininity and challenges the idea that pearls are something that you would see "proper ladies" wear, and not a woman who chooses to express herself and make art using her body and embraces her sexuality. I've actually never been a fan of pearls, but was instantly drawn to this top and knew that I wanted to incorporate it into my shoot wardrobe. I love this set in B&W but have more color sets coming soon!
