Relating to the 7.2 update
Added 2025-03-27 22:12:40 +0000 UTCIf you have any of the iris framework mods, DISABLE THEM first thing before you even reach the character screen!
7.2 did major changes to the shaders, so the mods will no longer work, or at worst start crashing you.
When Dalamud/Penumbra go live, in your main menu, hover the Dalamud icon on the left side, Penumbra settings, then disable the mods where relevant. Alternatively you may even delete the folders in your mod folder.
I'll try to update them when possible, but I can't promise a concrete timeline currently!

I am making the announcement just in case, there were a few people who tried forcing it on, and likely some .mtrl edits cause a crash too, but I can't confirm it's related to shaders. I think there was talk about it in the Penumbra discord, but I'm not too certain that matters when all the framework mods need updating.

2025-03-29 00:00:55 +0000 UTCI have the Aurora iris mod, and penumbra actually disabled them by default for me when I logged in, as it detected an issue with the shaders being outdated.
