Chapter 311: The Outer Path Golem Moves

In a secluded cave in the Land of Rain, Nagato stood before the imposing Outer Path Golem.

"Only the Nine-Tails remains. I wonder where Naruto Uzumaki is hiding," he murmured, his Rinnegan glinting with faint anticipation.

“Nagato, there’s news,” Konan said, entering the cave.

“What news?”

“Kaguya Kimimaro’s Void Palace has taken action.”

“Oh?” Nagato turned to Konan, his interest piqued. “What did he do?”

“The Void Palace has mobilized entirely, entering the battlefield and fiercely opposing the White Zetsu army.”

“Heh, so he’s chosen to wade into these murky waters after all,” Nagato chuckled lightly, unsurprised by Kimimaro’s actions.

“Is he opposing us directly?” Konan asked, frowning.

“No, not exactly. Kimimaro and I both know that the outcome of this war doesn’t depend on the White Zetsu army or the Allied Shinobi Forces. The true victors will be determined by a select few individuals.

To him, this is all based on the assumption that I—or Akatsuki—will fail,” Nagato explained calmly.

Konan pondered for a moment. “Are you saying Kimimaro wants to position the Void Palace as the savior of the world to gain immense prestige?”

Nagato nodded. “Exactly. If the five great villages continue to struggle and fail, while the Void Palace achieves success after success and suppresses Akatsuki, their reputation will soar.

After the Fourth Shinobi World War, that prestige would give Kimimaro the leverage to accomplish a great many things.”

“What could he achieve?”

“He could recruit powerful individuals or promising young shinobi. The five great villages would lose much of their influence.”

“But most of the talented shinobi belong to those villages. At best, the Void Palace could attract some wandering rogue ninja,” Konan countered.

“What if the five great villages ceased to exist?”

“What?” Konan gasped, startled.

Nagato continued, his gaze fixed on the Outer Path Golem. “If all the Five Kage were to die and their leadership destroyed, villages like Konoha, Sunagakure, Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and Kirigakure would fall into chaos.

Without strong leaders, the villages would fracture, and powerful clans would prioritize their own survival.

The current era has seen the rise of countless civilian shinobi—those without clan affiliations. They would become Kimimaro’s primary targets.

By leveraging the Void Palace’s wartime reputation, Kimimaro could attract the majority of these displaced shinobi.

Everyone desires safety in times of war. A powerful organization like the Void Palace would serve as the perfect sanctuary.

Absorbing this influx of talent would make the Void Palace the strongest force in the world, capable of uniting the shinobi world under one banner.”

“Kimimaro’s ambition is that grand?” Konan was stunned.

“Ambition isn’t something you can see on the surface,” Nagato remarked. “Kimimaro and I are alike in that sense. If I fail, leaving the shinobi world in his hands might be better than leaving it to the arrogant leaders of today.”

Nagato leapt atop the Outer Path Golem’s head, his resolve evident.

“Konan, the time has come to launch our final assault. With the invincible power of the Outer Path Golem, I will crush the shinobi forces of the Five Great Nations, locate the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, and pave the way for the Ten-Tails’ resurrection.”

Despite his anticipation, a trace of tension lingered in Nagato’s voice. This was a point of no return.

“Nagato, I’ll stand by you no matter what,” Konan declared, her form dissolving into countless paper fragments before reforming beside him.

“Let’s go!”

The Outer Path Golem roared, shattering the cave’s ceiling and stepping into the sunlight.

The true battle had begun.

Its deafening roar reverberated across the shinobi world, its immense chakra felt by all.

---

In the Void Palace, Kimimaro opened his eyes.

“It’s begun. Nagato truly is impatient; the war’s barely started, and he’s already making his move.”

He stood, prepared to act.

At that moment, a shattering sound echoed through the grand hall.

“Hm?” Kimimaro turned to see Naruto, encased in crystal, undergoing a transformation.

His body shimmered with golden light, his cloak blazing like fire, fully enveloped in his perfected Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.

“Just in time, huh?” Kimimaro mused, a faint smile forming.

“Kimimaro, I’m coming with you!” Naruto declared, his fox-like eyes burning with determination.

“Alright. Let’s end this war,” Kimimaro replied.

Placing his hand on Naruto, Kimimaro activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, and in an instant, the two disappeared.

---

Meanwhile, in the depths of a secret Uchiha base, Sasuke tore the bandages from his eyes, revealing his newly awakened Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

“This power... It’s incredible. With this, I’ll defeat Kimimaro! Brother, I’ll avenge you soon!”

Susano’o erupted around Sasuke, its colossal form radiating menace.

Suddenly, Sasuke felt the oppressive presence of the Outer Path Golem.

“This overwhelming aura... Who could it be?”

Though shaken, Sasuke’s determination remained unbroken.

“That must be the Outer Path Golem. If it’s there, Kimimaro must be heading that way too!”

Suppressing his fear, Sasuke prepared himself. His battle was not with the Golem, but with Kimimaro.

---

In the Land of Rain, Tobi appeared, ready to seize his opportunity amidst the chaos.

After escaping Nagato’s seal, he had been in hiding, but now he had finally revealed himself again.

"Nagato has summoned the Gedo Statue to the battlefield? Impatient as always. But this could be my chance. If I can take back the Rinnegan and control the Gedo Statue, maybe I can set things back on track."

Obito murmured to himself and prepared to activate Kamui to move swiftly.

Just then, a familiar voice interrupted him.

"Obito, things have strayed far from the plan we made. Why am I revived in this form?"

This voice was all too familiar to Obito.

It belonged to the man who had shaped his entire life.

"Lord Madara."

Obito turned and saw Uchiha Madara, resurrected through the Reanimation Jutsu, standing behind him.

"Obito, what’s going on?"

Madara asked bluntly.

Obito began explaining everything to Madara.

"Kaguya Kimimaro? I didn’t expect the Kaguya clan to have a descendant of this caliber. He alone disrupted all my plans?"

Madara frowned, finding it hard to believe.

"He’s an extraordinary individual. The Akatsuki is in its current state mostly because of him," Obito replied.

"And Black Zetsu?" Madara inquired further.

"He went to Hueco Mundo, claiming he’s infiltrating as a spy," Obito explained.

Madara nodded slightly. "Have him return. I need information on Kimimaro’s current state."

"Understood," Obito replied.

But before he could act, Madara suddenly interrupted, "Forget it. There’s no time. Nagato’s summoning of the Gedo Statue suggests he might intend to revive the Ten-Tails soon. That takes precedence over Kimimaro.

I must reach Nagato before the Ten-Tails is fully revived and have him use the Rinnegan to restore my life. Otherwise, all my years of planning will be meaningless."

Madara’s gaze fixed on the distant location of the Gedo Statue.

"Yes, Lord Madara."

With that, the two became allies and moved swiftly toward the Gedo Statue’s location.

Meanwhile, the ninja coalition, originally assembled to confront Madara, was left bewildered when he vanished.

"Where’s Uchiha Madara? How could he just disappear without a trace?" Onoki asked, puzzled.

"Could it be that the Hokage have dispelled the Reanimation Jutsu, causing Madara to vanish?" Raikage speculated.

"No, that’s unlikely. If the Reanimation Jutsu were undone, all other reanimated warriors should have disappeared too. But based on current reports, the reanimated forces are still battling our troops," Onoki pointed out.

"Strange. Could Madara be deliberately hiding?" Raikage wondered.

"Regardless, we must stick together to confront Madara. Splitting up could make us vulnerable to being picked off," Onoki advised.

Gathered were Onoki, the Fourth Raikage, Mei Terumi, Gaara, Kakashi, and Might Guy—a formidable lineup.

But even with such a team, Onoki didn’t feel confident in defeating Madara, whom he considered an invincible presence.

As Onoki strategized, a terrifying aura emanated from the Gedo Statue.

Everyone turned toward the source in alarm.

"That presence… could it be the shell of the legendary Ten-Tails?" Kakashi speculated.

"What a monstrous power," even the typically carefree Might Guy broke into a cold sweat.

"It seems Pain, the leader of the Akatsuki, can no longer contain himself. If that’s the case, let’s not hold back—charge forward!" Onoki declared.

The group followed Onoki’s lead, advancing toward the Gedo Statue’s location.

Despite interference from reanimated forces and White Zetsu clones, this elite squad tore through them with ease, progressing rapidly.

Soon, all the strongest forces of the ninja world converged on the Gedo Statue.

Elsewhere, the three legendary Sannin resolved their standoff.

"It’s about time. I should take my leave," Orochimaru said, rising slowly.

"Are you finally going to release the Reanimation Jutsu?" Jiraiya asked.

"Yes," Orochimaru replied with a smirk. "But after dispelling the current ones, I’ll summon a new batch."

"What?! Orochimaru, are you toying with us?" Tsunade shouted angrily.

"No, Tsunade. I’m doing this to help you. Do you really think your current forces can win? You know the terror of the eight-tailed beasts’ combined power," Orochimaru countered.

Tsunade shuddered at the memory of Pain’s overwhelming power.

"Who do you intend to summon with the Reanimation Jutsu?" Jiraiya asked warily.

"The former Hokage. Only they can turn the tide," Orochimaru replied with a sinister grin.

"Orochimaru, don’t you fear that the First Hokage will kill you the moment he’s revived?" Jiraiya exclaimed.

"No, he won’t. The power of the Reanimation Jutsu will be the ace up your sleeve," Orochimaru said as he performed the release hand seals.

"Reanimation Jutsu: Release!"

The reanimated forces across the battlefield began glowing, their souls leaving their bodies. The remains crumbled into dust, revealing White Zetsu corpses beneath.

"The Reanimation Jutsu has been undone! The Hokage succeeded!" Kakashi cheered.

The dissolution of the reanimated forces was a welcome relief, enabling them to focus on the true enemy.

"They actually pulled it off. Impressive," Raikage muttered.

"Don’t drop your guard. This could be a ploy by Konoha to lower our defenses," Onoki warned.

Raikage nodded grimly, his face serious.

Meanwhile, Madara’s body began disintegrating, his soul preparing to leave.

"So, this is…" Obito froze, suppressing a burst of joy.

The Reanimation Jutsu was undone!

At last, he would no longer be constrained by Madara, and his plans could proceed unhindered.

But his relief was fleeting.

(To be continued…)

*Chapter 312: Haku's Power*

"Hmph, since you've resurrected me, don't expect me to leave so easily. Now, fate is in my hands!"

Madara Uchiha snorted coldly, forming seals with his hands.

*"Impure World Reincarnation, Release!"*

In the next moment, his soul, which had been on the verge of leaving his body, forcefully returned. The state of Impure World Reincarnation was retained—something no one thought possible!

"This…"

Obito was stunned.

Madara Uchiha, that man, always had a way of defying expectations.

"Obito, it seems Nagato's subordinates are no good. The Impure World Reincarnation has been undone so easily."

Madara glanced at Obito.

"You look disappointed."

"No, I’m just surprised. I didn’t expect Lord Madara to be able to release the Impure World Reincarnation on your own."

"Hmph. This is Tobirama's jutsu. How could I not study it? That guy wasn’t particularly powerful, but he sure invented a lot of strange techniques. Hashirama even created a special sealing scroll just to deal with them."

Seemingly caught up in memories of the past, Madara's expression subtly shifted.

Though he looked down on Tobirama, he couldn't deny the man’s genius.

The Senju Clan had always overshadowed the Uchiha, not just because of Hashirama but also due to Tobirama.

But the thought of Tobirama killing his brother ignited a spark of anger in Madara.

"Let’s go. Don’t waste any more time here."

Madara cut the conversation short and continued moving forward.

Obito followed in silence.

"It seems getting rid of Madara is nearly impossible. I need to find an opportunity to disable the seal he placed on my heart, then seal the Ten-Tails into myself while he’s distracted. But there’s one critical step I can’t avoid."

Obito's expression grew grim beneath his mask.

That step, of course, was acquiring the Rinnegan.

Without the Rinnegan, he couldn’t control the Gedo Statue. Without controlling the Gedo Statue, becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki was out of reach.

For now, it seemed Nagato had the best chance.

This was the downside of revealed information.

Losing his informational advantage, Obito now had to contend with Nagato in the final game.

The battlefield had become a murky mess.

Every major faction was involved, and Obito was no longer a mastermind pulling strings from behind the scenes.

His only current trump card was the power of Kamui.

"There will be a chance!"

Obito reassured himself.

Meanwhile, the Gedo Statue finally revealed itself to everyone on the battlefield.

Its colossal size, even larger than the Tailed Beasts, radiated an overwhelming sense of dread.

"What is that thing?!"

The gathered shinobi were aghast at the sight of the behemoth.

Ordinary ninjas could hardly withstand the sheer pressure emanating from the Gedo Statue.

"It seems there aren’t any powerful shinobi here," Nagato said, scanning the area with his Rinnegan. He noted the strongest among them were merely two elite Jōnin.

From the Hidden Mist: Zabuza Momochi and Haku!

"Zabuza-san! That’s the leader of the Akatsuki, isn’t it?"

Haku’s expression was grave.

"Looks like we’ve drawn the short straw today, running into such a big problem."

Zabuza gripped his weapon tightly, his sharp eyes filled with resolve.

"Zabuza-san…"

Haku’s worry was evident. In such a situation, their chances of survival were slim.

"Haku, don’t wear that expression. This is the battlefield. We can never predict who our enemies will be. All we can do is give everything we’ve got to defeat them. Even if we know we can’t win, retreating is never an option."

Zabuza spoke with a seriousness that conveyed the weight of his convictions.

He may have been a rogue ninja, but that didn’t mean he was a coward.

On the battlefield, he would never run away. To him, a shinobi retreating was the ultimate disgrace.

"Zabuza-san, I’m not afraid. No matter what happens, I’ll follow you to the end."

Haku’s determination shone through.

"I know. Taking you in is probably the best decision I’ve ever made."

For the first time, Zabuza’s icy expression softened into a faint smile.

"Zabuza-sama, you’re smiling?"

Haku was astonished, having never seen such an expression from Zabuza before.

"Haku, prepare for battle."

Zabuza avoided the comment and refocused on the task at hand.

"Understood, Zabuza-sama!"

Haku responded confidently, fully prepared.

The power of the Cursed Seal of Emptiness activated, and frost began forming around Haku’s right hand. Within moments, an icy blade materialized.

*Ice Blade!*

As soon as the weapon appeared, the surrounding temperature plummeted, and a chilling aura enveloped the area.

"What a powerful coldness! It’s Haku-sama!"

The nearby Mist shinobi were awestruck.

Haku had joined their village not long ago, so most had never seen his true strength.

Zabuza, of course, was infamous.

But if someone stood by Zabuza’s side, they had to be formidable.

Now witnessing Haku’s power, the Mist shinobi collectively gasped in disbelief.

Just his aura rivaled that of Mei Terumi.

"Haku, you truly have more potential than I do."

Even Zabuza couldn’t help but marvel at Haku’s state.

"Zabuza-sama, to be honest, much of this power comes from the Cursed Seal of Emptiness that Kimimaro-sama gave me. His strength is truly unfathomable."

Haku spoke humbly.

The deeper he tapped into the seal, the more he realized how terrifying Kimimaro must have been.

If just a seal could possess such power, how incredible must Kimimaro himself be?

---

It was certain that for a powerful figure like Mei Terumi, she wasn't even worth Kimimaro's full strength.

Upon hearing this, Zabuza fell into deep thought.

"That person’s motives are a mystery. Let’s not concern ourselves with him for now. Let’s focus on the enemy in front of us. If we can hold out for ten minutes, reinforcements should arrive."

The moment the Gedo Statue appeared, a distress signal had already been sent.

If nothing unexpected happened, the ninjas from the Five Great Shinobi Villages should already be on their way here.

"Hmm? That person has Kimimaro’s chakra aura."

After Haku unleashed the Void Curse Mark, it immediately caught Nagato's attention.

Nagato was extremely familiar with Kimimaro.

Sensing Kimimaro’s chakra on someone else naturally surprised him.

"Is it a power similar to Orochimaru’s curse mark? It must be something Kimimaro created himself. This guy, following Orochimaru, has indeed learned a lot of things."

Through the Rinnegan, Nagato saw Haku’s true form and murmured softly.

"Nagato, should we deal with the enemies in front of us?"

Konan asked.

"No need. They're just ants, unworthy of my attention. Let’s move forward and wait for the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki to appear."

As Nagato spoke, he urged the Gedo Statue beneath him to advance.

The Gedo Statue began moving with heavy steps, proceeding slowly forward.

The surrounding ninjas tensed up immediately upon seeing it move.

"It’s moving! Everyone, stop it together!"

"Alright!"

In an instant, the ninjas began forming hand seals, unleashing their jutsu one after another.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

"Earth Style: Earth Spears!"

"Fire Style: Fireball Technique!"

A barrage of ninjutsu rained down on the Gedo Statue.

However, the combined attacks barely tickled it and failed to cause any significant harm.

"What? It’s completely ineffective?"

Everyone was shocked.

A bombardment of this magnitude could bring down a mountain, yet it only made a sound when it landed on the Gedo Statue.

Fear began to spread.

"Its defense is truly astonishing," Zabuza remarked in surprise.

"Lord Zabuza, let everyone use Fire Style together. After that, I’ll enhance the effect with my Ice Style," Haku said in a low voice.

"Alright."

Zabuza nodded and immediately issued orders loudly.

"Everyone! Those proficient in Fire Style, use Fire Style techniques! If you can’t use Fire Style, support with Wind Style! If you can’t do either, use explosive tags! Burn this monster with the most intense fire you can muster!"

The ninjas complied, unleashing Wind Style and Fire Style techniques while others threw explosive tags.

Being ninjas from the Hidden Mist Village, they specialized in Water Style and Wind Style; Fire Style users were few.

However, a few Fire Style users managed to create flames strong enough to start the attack.

Yet, this level of firepower had no significant effect on the Gedo Statue.

Of course, this was merely the appetizer.

The real key was Haku.

"Haku, the fire has subsided. It’s your turn now," Zabuza said, looking at Haku.

Haku nodded and exhaled cold air softly.

"Ice Style: Thousand-Year Ice Prison!"

Haku threw an ice blade like an arrow.

It moved so fast that it reached the Gedo Statue in the blink of an eye.

Clang!

The moment the ice blade landed on the Gedo Statue, a chilling cold spread rapidly.

"What is this…?"

Nagato and Konan were startled.

The cold was extraordinary.

In the next moment, they felt the moisture in the air freeze instantly.

In an instant, Nagato, Konan, and the Gedo Statue were frozen into a massive block of ice!

It resembled an icy mountain!

Haku gasped heavily as the power of the Void Curse Mark was completely drained.

The enormous scale of the Ice Style attack revealed how much energy it consumed.

"So strong…"

Everyone was stunned.

Such terrifying Ice Style had never been seen before.

Even Zabuza was shocked.

He realized that, unbeknownst to him, Haku’s power had already surpassed his own.

"Haku, well done!" Zabuza praised sincerely.

"Thank you, Lord Zabuza. However, this technique will only hold them for a short time. I can sense their power—it's overwhelming, and I’m no match for them," Haku said weakly.

The technique had exhausted Haku completely.

"They’re really this strong?" Zabuza muttered, looking at the frozen Gedo Statue.

The white ice started to crack, just as Haku predicted—it wouldn’t last long.

"Do the Five Great Shinobi Villages even stand a chance against such a monster?" Zabuza began to worry about their future.

Meanwhile, Kimimaro and Naruto were rushing toward the battlefield.

Kimimaro hadn’t left a Flying Thunder God mark near the Gedo Statue.

"Kimimaro, I can sense a strong chakra fighting Nagato. It feels familiar, like I’ve encountered it before, but I can’t recall where," Naruto said softly.

"Oh? What’s the characteristic of this chakra?"

"It’s bone-chillingly cold."

Kimimaro squinted his eyes, immediately knowing who it was.

There was only one person in the ninja world with such chakra—Haku.

After sensing the Void Curse Mark on Haku, Kimimaro confirmed his suspicions.

"I didn’t expect Haku to have mastered the Void Curse Mark to such an extent. Though it was implanted later than Neji's, the development is nearly as advanced. It seems he’s worked hard," Kimimaro thought.

Expanding his perception, Kimimaro activated the Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.

Within a radius of several dozen kilometers, every chakra signature on the battlefield appeared in his mind.

Such was the terrifying power of the Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.

With the addition of his Sage Mode, Kimimaro could sense the entire battlefield in an instant.

"It’s getting more and more chaotic. The Five Kage, Madara, and Obito are all heading toward the Gedo Statue. Hmm… Kabuto has also started moving."

Suddenly, Kimimaro sensed four unfamiliar chakra signatures that shouldn’t exist in the current world.

The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju!

The Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju!

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi!

The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze!

After the Reanimation Jutsu had been canceled, Orochimaru had used it again, summoning these four.

During the earlier retrieval of his arms from the Death God, Orochimaru had also reclaimed their souls.

Now, summoning them was a calculated move to completely disrupt the battlefield.

The forces of the Five Great Shinobi Villages were already at a disadvantage.

Summoning new reinforcements was the only way to balance the scales.

"You… are Kabuto Yakushi?"

Seeing Kabuto appear and perform the Reanimation Jutsu, Jiraiya and Tsunade were stunned.

What was going on?

"Orochimaru-sama, leave this to me. You must be tired after controlling so many reanimations," Kabuto said with a faint smile, adjusting his glasses.

"Suit yourself. The result will be the same anyway," Orochimaru replied indifferently.

The previous Hokage had officially entered the fray!

"Ah, is that little Tsunade? Didn’t expect to see you the moment I woke up, hahaha," Hashirama laughed upon seeing Tsunade.

(Chapter End)

*Chapter 313: Allies Arrive*

"Is this Edo Tensei again?"

Tobirama looked down at his own hands, displeasure evident on his face.

Being manipulated by the jutsu he himself created was far from satisfying.

"Is it you again, Orochimaru?"

Tobirama's sharp eyes locked onto Orochimaru, radiating authority.

"Lord Second Hokage, we meet again. Although I didn’t summon you this time, it’s nearly the same." Orochimaru chuckled.

"Are you courting death?"

"Your words are too harsh, Lord Second. This time, you're not here to serve me but to help the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade."

"Tsunade?"

Tobirama was taken aback and turned to look at Tsunade, who had yet to speak.

Hashirama, the Third Hokage, and Minato also curiously directed their attention to Tsunade.

"Tsunade, you're the Hokage now? Is Konoha still standing? Or did you manage to lose it?" Hashirama asked with mock seriousness, his face full of exaggerated worry.

Tsunade rolled her eyes. "Grandfather, I’m not that reckless. Konoha is still intact, but after this war, I can’t guarantee it’ll stay that way."

"Little Tsunade, what’s going on?"

Hashirama’s playful demeanor disappeared, replaced by a serious expression. Matters concerning Konoha were never to be taken lightly.

Tsunade sighed. "Grandfather, Uncle Tobirama, Lord Hiruzen, Minato... I wasn’t the one who decided to use Edo Tensei. That was Orochimaru acting on his own. But now that you're here, your help is desperately needed."

She explained the details of the Fourth Great Ninja War to the resurrected Hokage.

"Madara? I didn’t expect that not only did he survive, but he also orchestrated so much chaos," Hashirama muttered, his brows furrowing deeply.

"Hmph. Brother, I warned you. Madara was as cunning as they come—he wouldn’t die so easily. When his body disappeared, I suspected something was amiss, but there were no leads. I had to let it go. Who knew he’d concoct all this in the shadows?" Tobirama's tone was filled with disdain.

"Tobirama, it’s pointless to dwell on that now. We have the chance to stop Madara again," Hashirama said as he activated his sensory abilities.

"I can sense it. Madara has also been resurrected through Edo Tensei. Fellow Hokage, let us head to the battlefield together."

With Hashirama’s call to action, the group prepared to move. Before departing, however, Hiruzen approached Orochimaru.

"Orochimaru, what’s your true goal here? You don’t usually lend a hand so willingly."

Hiruzen, ever perceptive of his former student’s nature, was skeptical.

Orochimaru chuckled lightly. "Sensei, now isn’t the time for such questions. What I want doesn’t matter in the current situation, does it?"

Faced with Orochimaru’s enigmatic response, Hiruzen could only let it go for the moment.

Meanwhile, Minato turned to Jiraiya. "Jiraiya-sensei, where’s Naruto?"

"Don’t worry. He’s in a safe place for now. Naruto is key to this war, so he’ll only appear at the critical moment," Jiraiya reassured him.

However, Kabuto interjected with unsettling news. "Unfortunately, Jiraiya-sama, after you and Tsunade left the command post, the Raikage and Tsuchikage ordered Naruto to join the battle. The message was relayed quickly, and Naruto should already be en route."

"What?! Those idiots!" Tsunade cursed in frustration.

"The strife within the shinobi world truly never ends," Tobirama sighed.

He had once suggested to Hashirama the idea of unifying the shinobi world under one rule, but concerns about Madara’s interference had made him abandon the plan. Now, the fragmented leadership of the Five Kage was proving to be a problem.

Minato, hearing this, activated the power of the Nine-Tails within him. His golden chakra cloak appeared, enhancing his sensory range.

"I can sense him. Naruto is moving rapidly toward a location with immense chakra—likely the Gedo Statue."

"We can’t afford to delay any longer. Let’s move," Tobirama urged.

The group immediately sprang into action. Tobirama and Minato used their Flying Thunder God technique to teleport Hashirama and Hiruzen to the battlefield.

"To see all the past Hokage join forces—it’s a rare sight," Jiraiya remarked.

"Don’t thank me; blame Orochimaru for this!" Tsunade retorted, glaring at Orochimaru.

"Now, now, Tsunade. Save your praise for later. You’d better catch up quickly," Orochimaru said with a sly smile, ignoring her hostility.

Tsunade snorted and left without further argument.

"Aren’t you going with them?" Jiraiya asked Orochimaru.

"Not yet."

"What are you waiting for? Who are you really helping?"

"I enjoy being a spectator," Orochimaru replied with a smirk.

"Ugh, you’re impossible," Jiraiya muttered before leaving as well.

In the dim cave, only Orochimaru and Kabuto remained.

"Everything seems to be going smoothly, Orochimaru-sama," Kabuto commented.

"Our performance is over. Now, it’s Kimimaro’s turn. I’m curious to see what the Ten-Tails and the Infinite Tsukuyomi will be like," Orochimaru mused.

---

Meanwhile, Naruto and Kimimaro approached the frozen Gedo Statue from a distance.

"They froze that huge thing? Amazing," Naruto exclaimed in awe.

---

“It won’t hold for long. The power of the Gedo Statue far surpasses normal comprehension. Although Haku’s strength exceeds that of most Shadows, it’s still insignificant before the Gedo Statue.”

As soon as Kimimaro finished speaking, the sound of cracking echoed. The frost shattered inch by inch, revealing the true form of the Gedo Statue.

“It’s no use,” Naruto exclaimed in shock.

“Let’s go, pick up the pace,” Kimimaro muttered.

“Alright,” Naruto nodded.

On top of the Gedo Statue, Nagato glanced at Haku in the distance.

“Unexpected. I didn’t think there was such a strong warrior among the Yuki clan. It’s rare. But unfortunately, today will be the end for them.”

Nagato’s voice was cold as he extended his right hand toward Haku.

“Bansho Ten’in!”

Though hundreds of meters apart, the horrifying gravitational pull of Bansho Ten’in acted directly on Haku.

Already fatigued, Haku had no strength to resist.

“Not good!”

When the frost shattered, Haku already sensed trouble. Now feeling the incredible force pulling him, his back ran cold.

Whoosh!

Haku was yanked through the air. Zabuza, reacting swiftly, grabbed Haku’s right hand.

Clang!

His left hand drove a ninja tool into the rock to anchor them.

However, the immense power of Bansho Ten’in was overwhelming. Even the anchored ninja tool began to give way.

“Haku, let go! If you don’t, you’ll pull me in too!”

“Never! I won’t let go!”

Zabuza knew that if Haku were dragged over, he’d face certain death. This grip was the line between life and death.

“Zabuza-sama…”

Haku was deeply moved but helpless.

Nagato’s actions, however, did not stop. The gravitational pull intensified, and the rock crumbled under the pressure!

“Ahhh!”

In an instant, Zabuza and Haku were pulled together toward Nagato.

From Nagato’s left hand, a black rod emerged, aimed directly at the two.

If struck, they would be skewered like dolls.

“Not good!”

Haku stepped in front of Zabuza, trying to shield him from the attack. Even if it meant both of them would be pierced, he resolved to die first.

Zabuza realized this and desperately tried to pull Haku back, but he lacked the strength.

“Haku!”

In despair, Zabuza roared.

“Goodbye, Zabuza-sama,” Haku whispered, closing his eyes as he faced death.

Zabuza’s eyes widened with rage and anguish.

Suddenly, a sharp crack rang out. The black rod in Nagato’s hand was shattered by a clawed hand.

A white figure appeared, donning a bone-like mask. His claws, formed from condensed bones, looked sharp enough to cut through anything.

It was Hyuga Neji.

Using the power of the Cursed Seal of Emptiness, Neji unleashed astonishing speed and strength.

Nagato’s shock was palpable. “Who are you?”

Caught off guard, neither Nagato nor Konan had anticipated this sudden attack.

The bone claws closed in on Nagato’s chest, trailing arcs of blue chakra, seemingly capable of tearing through anything.

“Shinra Tensei!”

A powerful repulsive force erupted from Nagato, blasting Neji, Zabuza, and Haku away in an instant.

The three were sent flying, unable to resist the overwhelming power.

“Tch, even ants can wield such strength. Without exception, all of it comes from Kimimaro. How many surprises does this guy have up his sleeve?” Nagato muttered as he lowered his hands.

“He’s indeed an enigmatic man,” Konan replied calmly.

“No matter how many tricks he has, once I capture the Nine-Tails, it will all end. These obstacles can die.”

Nagato’s voice turned icy as six figures emerged behind him.

The Six Paths of Pain had arrived, enhanced by the power of the Gedo Statue.

The six split into pairs, encircling Neji, Haku, and Zabuza, who had just landed.

“Such heavy punches,” Neji muttered, frowning as he blocked an attack from Asura Path, feeling the force through his semi-intangible state.

“How do we fight this?”

Neji was at a loss, but he wasn’t alone.

“Neji, I’m here!”

Rock Lee arrived in a blaze, opening six gates and unleashing Morning Peacock in a fiery flurry at Asura Path.

Though visually stunning, Lee lacked the power to harm the reinforced Asura Path, who retaliated with a missile.

“Not good!”

Exhausted from Morning Peacock, Lee couldn’t evade in time.

Neji swiftly intercepted, slicing the missile in half with his bone claws.

“Thank you, Neji!” Lee exclaimed, relieved.

“Lee, handle that guy. He absorbs chakra—your attacks are most effective.” Neji gestured toward Preta Path.

“Got it!” Lee sprang into action, seizing his chance to prove himself.

Meanwhile, Haku and Zabuza contended with Human Path and Naraka Path.

As Animal Path and Deva Path turned to attack the ninja alliance, reinforcements arrived: Mei Terumi, Gaara, Onoki, the Fourth Raikage, Kakashi, and Guy.

The battlefield was set for an epic clash.

“These are troublesome foes,” Kakashi muttered, lifting his headband to reveal his Sharingan.

“So many young strong shinobi from the Mist and Leaf. Yet why are their powers so similar?” Onoki mused, glancing at Neji and Haku with a sinking heart. Compared to these rising stars, Iwagakure’s new generation was utterly lacking.

*Chapter 314: Absolute Freeze Aura!*

The decline of Iwagakure's leadership was an evident truth.

If not for this reality, the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki, would have stepped down long ago to let the Fourth Tsuchikage take charge.

In this regard, Iwagakure was in an even more dire situation than Konoha.

Konoha had capable candidates for the position of Hokage, but they simply didn’t want the job.

For instance, Jiraiya and Tsunade before, and now Kakashi.

Thus, when Onoki saw such talent in other villages, it was inevitable for him to feel a pang of jealousy.

In comparison, Iwagakure’s prospects were bleak.

Their one prodigy of the younger generation, Deidara, had defected years ago.

The mere thought of this always caused Onoki pain.

But now, his attention was focused on something else—the similarities in the powers of Haku and Neji.

At first glance, their techniques, Ice Release and Gentle Fist, seemed unrelated.

However, the aura emanating from both was strikingly similar.

It felt as if their power didn’t entirely belong to them.

Onoki had no time to dwell on this further, as a greater enemy loomed before them.

The colossal Gedo Statue overshadowed even Haku and Neji in significance.

When the group arrived at the battlefield, they wasted no time and immediately joined the fray.

Kakashi and Gai engaged the strongest of the Six Paths, the Deva Path, initiating the battle.

Gaara entered the skirmish, aiding Lee against the Preta Path.

Mei Terumi teamed up with Zabuza and Haku to take on the Hell and Human Paths.

Meanwhile, the Animal Path found itself encircled by Onoki and the Raikage.

“Take one down first,” Onoki muttered, forming hand seals.

“Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!”

A transparent sphere of destructive power formed between Onoki's hands and launched toward the Animal Path. The sheer force of the attack was awe-inspiring.

The Animal Path, however, showed no emotion. It simply clasped its hands together and intoned, “Summoning Jutsu!”

What followed stunned everyone.

A summoning circle appeared, and seven figures materialized next to the Animal Path.

These were none other than the deceased jinchuriki:

- Yugito Nii, the Two-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Yagura, the Three-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Roshi, the Four-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Han, the Five-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Utakata, the Six-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Fu, the Seven-Tails' jinchuriki.

- Killer Bee, the Eight-Tails' jinchuriki.

Each had been revived with Rinnegan in their eyes.

As Onoki’s Dust Release approached, all seven jinchuriki simultaneously activated their Tailed Beast Cloaks, unleashing Bijuu Bombs in retaliation.

*BOOM!*

The clash of energies neutralized both attacks, but the ensuing shockwave rocked the entire battlefield.

“Bee!” the Raikage exclaimed, recognizing his brother among the seven.

Seeing Killer Bee controlled like a puppet filled the Raikage with immense sorrow.

“Damn you, Pain! Not only did you kill Bee, but you turned him into this… this abomination!”

Enraged, the Raikage's entire body surged with lightning, his chakra mode intensifying to its peak.

*BOOM!*

It was as if a massive pillar of lightning shot into the heavens, summoning the wrath of the skies.

“Raikage, don’t lose your composure. If you act recklessly now, we’re doomed,” Onoki cautioned, his voice calm despite the grim situation.

Onoki’s Dust Release had been countered, and the odds were growing bleaker.

“I’m supposed to stay calm in this situation? Akatsuki scum!” the Raikage roared, his anger unrelenting.

Despite their frustration, the leaders couldn’t deny the precarious state of the battle.

Onoki surveyed the battlefield. Their arrival had tipped the scales in the smaller skirmishes—victory was a matter of time.

But Onoki knew these wins were superficial.

The foes before them were just Pain's puppets. Killing them wouldn’t weaken Nagato.

“This can’t continue,” Onoki thought grimly, his mind racing for a solution.

Yet every scenario seemed hopeless unless reinforcements arrived.

“Where’s the Hokage? Jiraiya? And the Nine-Tails jinchuriki?”

As if to answer his silent plea, a fiery figure appeared on the battlefield.

Naruto Uzumaki!

“Leaf Village Genin, Naruto Uzumaki, reporting for duty!”

With a confident smile, Naruto’s Nine-Tails Chakra Mode radiated like a blazing inferno, captivating all.

“Finally!” Onoki exhaled in relief.

Accompanying Naruto was another figure cloaked in white—Kimimaro.

Having witnessed Kimimaro’s prowess firsthand, the Five Kage silently thanked fate.

Such a powerful ally was as reassuring as he was terrifying as a foe.

“Here at last,” Nagato murmured, his gaze fixed on Naruto.

The jinchuriki he had waited so long to capture was finally before him.

The Gedo Statue needed only the Nine-Tails’ chakra to complete the plan.

“Careful, Nagato. These opponents are formidable. Our current forces may not suffice,” Konan cautioned.

“Don’t worry,” Nagato replied softly. “We have one final move. Though we don’t have the full Nine-Tails, we’ve obtained some of its chakra. By injecting it into the Gedo Statue, we can prematurely awaken the Ten-Tails. Its power will be more than enough.”

As he spoke, the Gedo Statue roared to life, releasing a massive burst of chakra that momentarily overwhelmed the Allied Shinobi Forces.

Though the oppressive aura quickly subsided, the fear it inspired lingered.

“That monster… it’s fully awakened,” Naruto muttered, his expression serious.

Kimimaro squinted his eyes and said, "It seems Nagato has obtained part of the Nine-Tails' chakra and is trying to use it to prematurely revive the Ten-Tails. That guy sure came prepared."

"So, what should we do now?"

"Do everything we can to stop the Ten-Tails from being revived. Otherwise, this battle will be far too difficult," Kimimaro replied in a low voice, his gaze shifting to the seven Jinchūriki summoned to the battlefield.

Each of the seven carried portions of tailed beast chakra.

If Kimimaro could take the tailed beast chakra from them, he would only need Shukaku’s chakra to complete his plan.

"Alright then, I’ll take down all these Jinchūriki first!" Naruto declared confidently.

"I’ll help you," Kimimaro said quietly.

"Alright!" Naruto didn’t hesitate. At a time like this, he couldn’t afford to reject anyone's assistance, especially someone as powerful as Kimimaro.

The two charged into battle.

Seeing this, the Raikage was ready to jump in as well, but Ōnoki stopped him. "Let’s observe for now. We’ll step in later."

"What’s there to observe now?" Raikage asked, puzzled.

"This is the perfect opportunity to understand Kimimaro’s intentions. If we interfere now, we’ll lose this valuable chance," Ōnoki replied.

"This…" Raikage hesitated, torn between action and patience.

While he wavered, Naruto and Kimimaro had already engaged the seven Jinchūriki.

Kimimaro was especially familiar with about half of them, having captured them in the past. Even at their peak, they hadn’t been his match, let alone in their current state.

Of course, the Jinchūriki had the advantage in numbers.

However, Naruto was no ordinary ally. Having fully mastered the Nine-Tails' chakra, his power had skyrocketed.

“Take this!” Naruto shouted as the massive form of the Nine-Tails' chakra cloak manifested around him, enveloping both himself and Kimimaro.

The seven Jinchūriki responded by simultaneously transforming into their tailed beast forms.

In an instant, eight tailed beasts filled the battlefield, turning it into a chaotic arena.

"I never imagined I’d witness such a scene," Kakashi murmured, his expression full of shock.

Eight tailed beasts battling in the same place—such a sight was unprecedented. Even during Hashirama Senju’s time, he captured tailed beasts one by one, never facing them en masse.

"Naruto, let’s combine forces and finish them in one strike," Kimimaro suggested in a low voice.

"How do we do that?" Naruto asked.

"Simple. You provide continuous power, and I’ll enhance it," Kimimaro replied.

Before Naruto fully understood, Kimimaro had already begun. The emblem of the Friendship Crest on Kimimaro’s right hand glowed brightly.

"MetalGarurumon!" Kimimaro shouted, and the Nine-Tails' chakra cloak around Naruto began to transform drastically.

The previously feral fox appearance morphed into something far more menacing—a golden wolf clad in blue armor. Steel blades extended from its back, exuding an air of lethal precision.

The Steel Nine-Tails had emerged.

Kimimaro had infused the power of MetalGarurumon into the Nine-Tails' chakra, drastically boosting its strength.

Naruto felt his power surge more than twice over. "This… is incredible!" he exclaimed, looking at Kimimaro in awe.

"I didn’t expect you to have such an ability. Truly terrifying," Naruto added.

"Let’s go, Naruto!" Kimimaro said with a confident smile.

"Got it!" Naruto replied, his earlier shock giving way to determination as he turned his gaze to the seven tailed beasts.

"With Kimimaro’s power, I will win!" he declared, brimming with confidence.

Meanwhile, within Naruto’s mind, the Nine-Tails itself was equally stunned.

"This Kimimaro... he has yet another hidden power? This energy is completely different from what he used against me. I can’t see through him at all," the Nine-Tails thought, before focusing its attention back on the fight.

The Steel Nine-Tails charged, and the seven tailed beasts roared as they retaliated, rushing forward together.

*Boom!*

The collision shook the battlefield.

One by one, the tailed beasts were thrown into the air, landing with resounding crashes that shook the earth. Even the allied ninja were struggling to keep their footing amidst the tremors.

"What’s this additional power in the Nine-Tails’ chakra? Is it from Kimimaro?" Ōnoki observed, growing increasingly wary.

The blue armor on the Nine-Tails was unlike anything he had ever seen. This was no ordinary transformation.

“It must be Kimimaro’s doing,” he concluded, his suspicion of Kimimaro deepening.

As the Steel Nine-Tails continued to dominate, Naruto marveled at its enhanced durability. "This armor is amazing!" he exclaimed.

"Don’t celebrate too soon. They’re about to get serious," Kimimaro warned.

The seven tailed beasts rose, their mouths aglow as they prepared to unleash massive Tailed Beast Bombs simultaneously.

"This isn’t good," the Nine-Tails said in Naruto’s mind. "Seven Tailed Beast Bombs at once will be tough to counter."

Even the Nine-Tails, with only half its full strength, was worried.

"This is bad," Naruto muttered, his confidence faltering.

"I’ll handle it. Let me take control," Kimimaro said calmly.

Naruto looked at Kimimaro and nodded. "Alright."

With Naruto’s approval, Kimimaro seamlessly took control of the Steel Nine-Tails, synchronizing with the Nine-Tails’ energy.

“What’s your plan?” the Nine-Tails asked Kimimaro telepathically.

"Simple: erase their attack. Just provide the chakra and watch," Kimimaro replied with a smirk.

"Hmph," the Nine-Tails grumbled but complied, channeling its immense energy into Kimimaro.

Kimimaro’s Friendship Crest glowed brighter than ever. He extended his hand toward the Steel Nine-Tails’ mouth and whispered, "Absolute Zero Breath."

A stream of freezing blue energy burst forth, chilling the battlefield.

The seven Tailed Beast Bombs collided with the icy blast, triggering a massive explosion.

*Chapter 315: Just One Step Away*

The enormous Tailed Beast Ball was instantly frozen solid by the surge of cold energy!

Like a massive sphere of ice forming mid-air, it plummeted heavily to the ground.

Crack!

The sound of shattering echoed as the frozen Tailed Beast Ball splintered into countless pieces.

“Amazing!”

Naruto exclaimed in surprise, astounded by the sheer power of the technique.

Even Kurama was taken aback.

“What a powerful jutsu. What kind of energy is this guy mixing with my chakra? It feels so unfamiliar, something I’ve never seen before.”

Kurama thought to himself, feeling that Kimimaro was an enigma wrapped in mystery.

“Is this Ice Release?”

Haku noticed the icy energy and glanced in its direction.

The sheer magnitude of the cold was beyond anything he could fathom.

Even if he had honed Ice Release to its peak, he doubted it could produce such an overwhelming freezing force.

After all, that was a Tailed Beast Ball created by the combined might of seven tailed beasts. Matching it required an unimaginable level of power.

Even though the power of the seven tailed beasts was incomplete, it was still terrifying.

“Ice Release? Since when did Kurama have techniques like this?”

Onoki frowned deeply as he observed from the skies.

The cooperation between Kimimaro and Naruto was something Onoki hadn’t anticipated.

He was even more shocked by the explosive power they unleashed together.

It was clear that Kimimaro’s relationship with Konoha was anything but ordinary.

If Konoha had Kimimaro on their side, the other four great villages wouldn’t stand a chance.

Realizing this, Onoki resolved to weaken them during this war.

A sinister thought emerged in his heart.

Nagato, watching the scene unfold, was equally astonished.

It wasn’t just the defeat of the seven tailed beasts that surprised him, but the fact that Kimimaro unveiled yet another hidden power.

Just how many unknown abilities does this guy have?

After shattering the Tailed Beast Ball, the Steel Kurama, under Kimimaro’s control, didn’t stop its assault.

The metallic fox charged at the seven tailed beasts, its glowing wings unfurling like sharp blades, slicing through the beasts with precision.

In mere moments, deep wounds appeared on each of the seven tailed beasts, and they collapsed with a resounding crash.

Kimimaro leapt off the Steel Kurama, his eyes glowing with a golden radiance.

The Tenseigan!

A terrifying devouring force erupted from him as he extended his hands toward the fallen seven tailed beasts.

Tenseigan Absorption!” he shouted.

In an instant, the chakra of the seven tailed beasts was ripped from their bodies and absorbed into Kimimaro.

The streams of chakra flowed into him like rivers into the sea, merging completely within his body.

The massive forms of the tailed beasts shrank as their chakra was drained, eventually reverting to their Jinchūriki forms.

“What is Kimimaro doing?” Naruto asked, confused.

“He’s using the Tenseigan to absorb the chakra of the seven tailed beasts,” Kurama explained in a low voice.

“Tenseigan? What’s that?”

Naruto was puzzled.

“The Tenseigan is an eye technique on par with the Rinnegan. Its power is terrifying,” Kurama replied.

“What?! Kimimaro has a dojutsu like that? That’s incredible!” Naruto exclaimed in shock.

“A Tenseigan, Shikotsumyaku, and all those strange abilities—this man is far too dangerous,” Kurama said warily, his gaze filled with apprehension.

If Kimimaro became an enemy, not even Naruto and Kurama combined would stand a chance.

Though the chakra absorption seemed lengthy, it happened in mere moments.

The seven Jinchūriki, now drained of power, crumbled into paper fragments and vanished, leaving only their lifeless bodies behind.

“Absorbing chakra and using those eyes… It seems Kimimaro had this planned all along,” Nagato muttered gravely.

Beneath him, the Gedo Statue completed its first transformation.

Ten wooden tails emerged, thrashing wildly, each swing capable of shattering mountains.

“What now, Nagato?” Konan asked anxiously.

Their forces were dwindling while their enemies grew stronger.

“Don’t worry. As long as the Gedo Statue is with us, we won’t lose,” Nagato replied with unshakable confidence.

The Gedo Statue’s overwhelming power emboldened him.

Kimimaro, having absorbed the chakra of the seven tailed beasts, felt it being drawn into the Tiger Seal Curse within him.

Of the nine empty slots on the seal, eight were now lit, leaving only one remaining.

That final power was Shukaku’s.

Kimimaro opened his eyes and fixed his gaze on the Gedo Statue.

“Just one more. If I can obtain Shukaku’s chakra, the Tiger Seal Curse will fully integrate the nine forces. It might even create a mini Ten-Tails. If that happens, becoming the Ten-Tails’ Jinchūriki will be within my reach,” Kimimaro thought, his desire for Shukaku’s power intensifying.

However, he knew it wouldn’t be easy to extract Shukaku from the Gedo Statue.

“The seven Jinchūriki were defeated just like that?”

Onoki and the Raikage, watching from afar, were stunned.

Even Pain’s Six Paths, battling Kakashi and others, had been vanquished, though at great cost to the allied forces.

“Such strong opponents… My training isn’t enough,” Lee said, collapsing to the ground after releasing the Eight Gates.

On the battlefield, Sakura, Shizune, and Ino rushed to heal the injured.

“How are you feeling, Neji? Lee? Gaara?” Sakura asked, concerned.

“It’s just minor injuries,” Neji replied weakly.

As the battle drew to a close, only the colossal Gedo Statue stood defiantly.

Back within the Steel Kurama, Kimimaro was already processing the immense power he had absorbed.

“Kimimaro, are you okay?” Naruto asked.

"I’m fine. These small fry have mostly been dealt with. Now, it’s time to handle this major threat ahead. The Ten-Tails’ power has begun to awaken—it’s not something one person can handle alone,” Kimimaro said gravely.

“Alright, but I can sense several powerful presences approaching. And… Sasuke,” Naruto added.

Having fully mastered the Nine-Tails’ power, Naruto’s sensory perception had increased significantly. He could clearly feel the approach of strong individuals.

It wasn’t just Naruto—Kimimaro and Nagato also felt it.

Now, those individuals were almost upon them.

Whoosh!

Several figures suddenly appeared on the battlefield.

The group split into two teams:

One consisted of Uchiha Madara and Obito, while the other included the past Kage and Jiraiya.

“Well, it certainly is lively here,” said Hashirama, surveying the scene. Turning his gaze to Madara, he remarked, “Madara, even in death, you can’t rest peacefully. You’ve stirred up so much trouble.”

“Hahaha, Hashirama, I’m on the brink of achieving the peace I’ve always spoken of. All you need to do is watch closely,” Madara said with a boisterous laugh, clearly excited to see Hashirama.

“You’re as stubborn as ever. But now’s not the time to play games with you—that thing over there is clearly more dangerous,” Hashirama said, pointing to the Gedo Statue.

“Hmph, you don’t get a say in this. Take this, Hashirama!”

Without another word, Madara charged at Hashirama.

Hashirama, not underestimating his opponent, immediately engaged him in battle.

Only three people on the battlefield could take on Madara: Hashirama, Kimimaro, and Nagato.

However, neither Kimimaro nor Nagato showed any interest in provoking Madara at the moment. Hashirama stepping in to stop him was only logical.

The two quickly moved their fight away from the main battlefield, creating their own arena as their intense battle unfolded.

Madara’s power was nothing short of extraordinary.

“Madara…” Obito muttered, frowning slightly as he watched.

This was not going as planned.

Weren’t they here to seize the Ten-Tails?

Why was Madara suddenly fighting the First Hokage?

While Obito was pondering, he found himself surrounded.

“Obito, it’s time for you to face the truth,” said Kakashi, one of those who had encircled him.

Hearing his name, Obito was visibly startled.

His identity had been exposed?

“Well, Kakashi, I didn’t expect you to recognize me,” Obito said with a chuckle, removing his mask to reveal a face both familiar and strange to Kakashi.

Seeing Obito’s face, Kakashi’s expression became complicated.

Kimimaro had been the one to reveal Obito’s identity to him. At first, Kakashi hadn’t believed it.

But upon closer consideration, the similarities between this man’s abilities and Kamui became apparent. Only Obito’s other eye could produce such a technique.

Now, faced with the truth, Kakashi couldn’t deny it any longer.

The man who had upended the entire ninja world was none other than his best friend from years ago—Uchiha Obito.

A friend surviving such peril should have been a cause for joy.

But seeing the stranger Obito had become, Kakashi could feel no happiness.

“Why, Obito? Why are you doing this?”

“I simply want to change this world, that’s all,” Obito replied coldly.

“And this is the way to do it?”

“Yes, precisely this way. Isn’t it interesting?”

“You…!”

The reunion of former friends inevitably led to a clash.

Kamui activated.

Everything would be decided in the Kamui Dimension.

Meanwhile, Minato focused on the colossal, armored Nine-Tails.

“Naruto has truly mastered the Nine-Tails’ power. That’s incredible. But what is this energy surrounding the Nine-Tails?” Minato mused, his eyes full of questions.

Tobirama, standing nearby, shared his confusion.

As a master of forbidden techniques, his knowledge of ninjutsu was unparalleled. Yet this power felt entirely unfamiliar to him.

“That person… Why does he seem so familiar?” Tobirama said, his sharp gaze locking onto Kimimaro within the Nine-Tails’ form.

He felt as though he had seen this figure before.

Just then, the Nine-Tails’ projection vanished.

“Naruto, this first connection is at its limit,” the Nine-Tails murmured.

“Got it. Take a break for now—we’ve got reinforcements,” Naruto replied.

“Hmm,” the Nine-Tails grunted.

As Kimimaro and Naruto landed, Tsunade and the others rushed to their side.

“Naruto, are you alright?” Jiraiya asked.

“And you, Kimimaro?” Tsunade inquired.

Kimimaro smiled and shook his head.

“I’m fine. Pervy Sage, you’re late—I really put on a show earlier,” Naruto said with a grin.

“You brat…” Jiraiya smiled in relief.

Naruto then turned to Minato.

The father and son exchanged complicated looks.

Thankfully, they had recently met within the seal, so the moment wasn’t entirely unfamiliar.

“Dad, you’re here too,” Naruto said, smiling.

Minato nodded. “Naruto, you’ve done well.”

“Hehe,” Naruto scratched his head, embarrassed.

At that moment, Onoki and A shouted as they approached.

“Hokage, what’s going on? Why are all the past Hokage here, resurrected through Edo Tensei? And why do they seem to retain control of themselves?” Onoki asked.

“It’s a long story. But they’re here to help us. Right now, the more allies we have, the better,” Tsunade replied vaguely, aware there wasn’t time to explain.

Still, this explanation did little to satisfy Onoki and A.

They had long suspected Konoha’s involvement in this disaster. Now, with so many reinforcements appearing, even the dead brought back to life, it seemed more like a Konoha conspiracy.

What’s worse, they realized they were powerless to oppose the current situation.

The sheer strength of Konoha’s forces, including the revived Hokage, was overwhelming.

Suddenly, Tobirama approached Kimimaro.

“So, it’s you,” Tobirama said softly, clearly recognizing him.

“I told you we’d meet again, Tobirama-senpai,” Kimimaro replied with a smirk.

“You’re quite the enigma, aren’t you?”

“Your praise flatters me. But for now, let’s focus on that giant creature,” Kimimaro said, pointing at the evolved Gedo Statue.

The battle was far from over.
