**Chapter 3: Binding Art No. 26 - Curved Light**

Located on the borders of the Land of Fire, surrounded by abundant farmland, Double Field Village is one of the country's most famous grain-producing towns.
After the outbreak of the Third Great Ninja War, the village was quickly taken over by Konoha ninja and became a central supply hub for the Lightning and Water battlefronts. As the forces of the Hidden Cloud Village retreated to their borders, the supply lines from Double Field Village were redirected entirely to the Water Country frontlines.
"Explosive tags, kunai, shuriken, scrolls, soldier pills..."
Outside of Double Field Village, Tounayuki spoke in a low voice, her eyes bloodshot. "Lord Yoru, the intel is accurate. This place is indeed Konoha's logistics base, and the supplies here could support a force of nearly a thousand soldiers!"
"The village is heavily guarded, with dual-layer sensory barriers, and eight watchtowers, each manned by three jonin."
"So it's that fortified, huh?"
Hearing this, the group present became solemn.
As the saying goes, "An army marches on its stomach." The importance of logistics in war cannot be overstated.
In the battle between Iwa and Konoha, Minato Namikaze's destruction of the Kannabi Bridge supply line caused Iwa's previously favorable situation to collapse in an instant. They are now even considering peace talks with Konoha.
Similarly, Double Field Village, as one of Konoha’s most important supply points for the Hidden Mist battlefield, must be heavily fortified.
"Double Field Village doesn’t have any top-tier shinobi stationed, and today's weather is favorable. The advantage is ours!"
Yoru glanced at the mist-covered trees and spoke in a low tone, "Yuki, disrupt their Byakugan. Group members, along with Yumi’s team, stay outside for backup. I’ll infiltrate first and create chaos. Once Yuyuri and Mangetsu see the disorder, they’ll act accordingly."
"Understood, Lord Yoru!"
Ringo Yuyuri and the others responded seriously, and a silent, white-haired figure nearby performed hand seals, causing the already misty forest to become even more foggy.
"Hidden Mist Jutsu!"
"Binding Art No. 26."
"Curved Light!"
As the thick mist spread, Yoru silently disappeared into the fog, blending in completely.
The Anbu present had seen this technique countless times, but even so, they were still amazed.
"Lord Yoru's secret technique is truly powerful. Probably only Yuki’s red eyes can detect him," Uzumaki Yumi whispered in admiration.
Yuki shook her head, "I can only track him for an instant when he vanishes. After that, he moves too fast for me to keep up."
"According to the Intelligence Division's records, Konoha's Moonlight Clan has a similar technique, but their training is so difficult that only they can master it. It’s more like a special bloodline limit," Hozuki Mangetsu explained. "Lord Yoru’s secret technique seems to be one-of-a-kind."
"Lord Yoru is truly remarkable..."
Yoru couldn’t hear his subordinates’ praise, but they weren’t wrong.
The technique Yoru used wasn’t from the Moonlight Clan. It came from another world—the Kido arts from the world of the Soul Reapers!
Yes, as a transmigrator, Yoru had his own unique advantage—a mysterious cheat-like system that was embodied in the weapon he held: his zanpakuto!
On the Yoru Yoru was born, that zanpakuto fell from the sky and landed beside him.
The Yuki clan remained on guard, expecting an assassination or attack, but nothing of the sort occurred.
Whenever anyone in the clan tried to move the zanpakuto away, it inexplicably reappeared by Yoru's side. Even when taken far away, it would teleport back to him.
This strange phenomenon caused quite a stir at the time, even drawing the attention of the Third Mizukage and the village elders.
Later, when the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were being selected, Yoru’s zanpakuto was nominated, but since it seemed to have no special abilities aside from its self-regeneration (similar to the Executioner’s Blade), it was eventually dismissed.
However, only Yoru knew the true power hidden within his zanpakuto.
It wasn’t just a sword—it was the key to his transmigration and the manifestation of his system!
This system had no name, but it offered many abilities. It allowed him to exchange points for anything from the Soul Reaper world, as long as he had enough points.
Points were earned by completing missions assigned by the system or by eliminating certain targets.
The Binding Art No. 26 - Curved Light that Yoru just used was one of the Kido spells he had exchanged for!
**Binding Art No. 26 - Curved Light:** *Generates a beam of light to cover an object, rendering it invisible.*

**Meanwhile, inside Double Field Village**
Atop a watchtower, Konoha Jonin Aburame Shikuro, wearing dark sunglasses, gazed at the thickening mist with a serious expression. "This mist is getting very dense, almost like the Hidden Mist technique. Stay alert!"
"Shikuro, you’re being too cautious," Inuzuka Kai said below. "My Gray Fang hasn’t picked up any scents. I heard that on the front lines, we’ve already driven Hidden Mist back over ten times. They may be good at assassinations, but large-scale battles? They’re no match for us."
"Don’t be too optimistic, Kai," Shikuro adjusted his glasses. "This is still a battlefield."
"Come on, even Hizashi hasn’t sensed anything."
"The air does contain traces of chakra, so it could be the Hidden Mist technique, but I don't see any figures," Hyuga Hizashi said, his white eyes fully activated.
"It’s such a foolish strategy. We have the Byakugan. Hidden Mist can’t even grasp our basic abilities. They’ve been isolated on those islands for so long, they’ve lost touch with the real world."
"Ha! Ha! Ha!"
The Konoha shinobi laughed. Even Hizashi allowed a slight smile to break through.
Sunagakure had been defeated, Kumogakure was retreating, and Iwagakure had lost its momentum. Of the five great ninja villages, three had already fallen to Konoha, and the Hidden Mist had yet to make any significant gains. They had earned their confidence.
"Alert!"
Suddenly, the perimeter barrier set off a minor alarm. A gray figure dashed from Inuzuka Kai’s side, diving into the nearby bushes.
The laughter stopped abruptly, and the Konoha shinobi assumed serious expressions. Soon, a gray dog emerged from the bushes, holding a rabbit in its mouth.
"A rabbit?"
Seeing the rabbit in Gray Fang's mouth, Inuzuka Kai frowned and glanced at Hizashi, who shook his head. "My Byakugan is still active. There’s no one around, and the rabbit is normal, no chakra flow."
With that, the group relaxed.
"Looks like we’re just all a little too on edge."
"This war has dragged on for too long. I’m starting to miss home."
"Don’t worry. The Hokage has already sent Jiraiya-sama to help us!"
"Really? If Jiraiya-sama is coming, we’ll crush those Hidden Mist scum in no time."
"Of course! He’s one of the legendary Sannin!"
