Another journey has finally come to its end. The translation for Cannon~Cocoa Island Case File,  or カノン～ココア島事件簿～, or RJ175772, is complete. I know it has been a real long while, but we all know how 2020 has been for everyone. Hopefully, some of you peeps have still been looking forward to this one, and many of you can have fun playing it.

Sorry for not posting sooner, but lots of stuff happened ever since January. Even the lockdown, which you'd think would be helpful when it comes to working on a game, wasn't that helpful after all... Translation progress is quite slow, but I think I'm well over 50%. Last months have been even slower though, so I have no idea when I'll be able to finish it.

A small status update

I guess it's been a while since I posted. Wanted to let you all know I'm still alive and kicking, but my progress with Yorozuya Princess has been as slow as ever. As for an update on my progress, I'm about to finish the main town of the game, Tellurium, and most of its quests. The other towns are less than a fourth of Tellurium, so getting that one out of the picture means a big part of the game has been translated. That's about it for now, cya around folks~!

Treasure Hunter Claire is out!

An alcoholic's everyday life

It's time to move on to the next project. As I mentioned before, this one is older than any other game I've picked, and although people might have played it and moved on, it's still nice for either newer players to find a full translation and enjoy it, or for older players to replay it and fully understand everything.

 And it was a success! There might have been a few bugs here and there, but it was near perfect(and will actually be perfect after all those bugs in both versions are sorted out). So now that I'm mostly done with that, I started working on Rosary and another game once again.

A small but important announcement

A small update~

Hey everyone. It's been a month since I posted, so I thought I should talk about my progress on the current translation. 

The game I'm working on, RJ166971, is a bit larger than I initially expected. This is probably because of the different routes the player can take, as well as the size of H-scenes, which are quite large as well. But that's not bad, right? Anyway, this one might take a while... There's a reason I don't give an ETA, you never know what to expect with these things!

Milk is going on an adventure~!

And it's done. That didn't take too long. It's probably because I've been slowly working on it even before finishing my previous translation, but eh.

The story isn't anything amazing, but there's more to do than the last game, mainly through fulfilling requests at a place called the community center. Some may seem boring, but well, they add to the game time, at least for those that want to play the game >_>

I think most issues with RJ150014 are fixed by now, so time to move on.

My choice for the next project was....kind of conflicting. See, the game I wanted to translate next was picked by someone else. Even though I had already started translating parts of the game, I didn't mind letting that go, as long as the translation was out before I was done with the game I was working on.

And the translation was out, faster than I expected. So, I thought "sure, no need to work...

I don't even know why it took so long to translate this game. It's not particularly big, but for some reason, everything consumed more of my time than in other games. Another update? Wait, where is the game!?

Yea, well....... Time for another update! While I had been hoping to work more in August and finish the game, apparently a chance for vacations came up, so I didn't want to pass it up. And so, I "wasted" nearly two weeks doing nearly nothing(though to be honest, I did think about how cool it would be to be able to translate something at the beach once or twice >.<)

Anyway, I won't be able to deliver this as fast as I wanted. Also, I think I've missed a script of the game where there are ...

Well....I guess I won't be posting any NSFW previews after all. I believe I have translated around 66% of the game. What's left to translate now is a part of the town, some areas outside the town, some miscellaneous events and a few H-scenes. I won't give any ETA, but I hope it'll be complete before the end of August.

This is a result of both the way the creator has written some of the game's dialogues, as well as some real life issues that cut up some of my free hours. But no worries, I will not rest until I deliver what I've promised >.<

Answers to some questions about my work

This post has nothing to do with my current translation. There are some questions that pop up frequently in my inbox, and it'd be nice to clarify some things for anyone interested.

The first question is "Will you translate X/Y/Z game after this one?" My answer is "I don't know." As you already know, I don't translate based on a certain circle or genre. For example, T-Enta-P, my favourite circle, has some amazing RPGs. I know that not many people like their artwork or their stories, ...

Translation progress update

Here's a small update for you peeps. I've tackled the first batch of H-scenes in Pickle's game, and my main issue is this: there's too much onomatopoeia. I don't particularly mind since it's the style of the dev's writing, but I don't think that style fits the english language the same way it does for the japanese language. That said, I won't be removing them since I don't want to alter the scenes that much, instead I'll be trying my best to translate them as accurately as possible. So, erm........

Well, the break was fun, but it's about time to announce my next project. 

The game I'll be working on next is RJ/RE150014(ボクのために戦って負けて犯されて!?)(Would you fight for me, lose for me, get xxx'd for me!? in english). Since the title is quite large, I'll be using the shortcut Pickle, which is the protagonist's name, while referring to it.

While I initially disliked this game, it was actually more entertaining after I got the hang of it...

Petite Goddess Emily Progress

Just a quick post concerning my progress on the translation~

I've finished about half the dungeons, most parts of the town, and some H-scenes. Some parts of the dialogue are conveyed through some weird script, but fear not, I believe I have managed to translate those parts successfully.

I'm working a bit more on the game than I did on Rural Life Survival RPG, and if everything goes well, I might be able to deliver it much faster than the last time. No promises, but Easter might come with...
