General Update: Slight Schedule Change & Christmas Break dates

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I posted a general update; in fact, the patreon has officially more than tripled since then after Hundred Reigns hit Royal Road (I had 441 paying patreon when I posted it, and now the number has reached 1351 as I write these lines). It's a little surreal when I read this, especially since there's now more people subscribing to my Patreon than when I was writing both the Perfect Run and Vainqueur, my previous heavy hitters.

I really want to thank you all for your support. You're awesome, and it means the world to me.

But well... I'll need to adapt my schedule quite a bit according to these big changes. I'm currently producing 7 chapters per week total, five of Hundred Reigns and two of Board & Conquest, but for those who have recently joined and don't know about it, I'm also working as narrative designer and assistant director for the Sony-sponsored video game adaptation of my Perfect Run novel, and I'm also writing the script of its webtoon adaptation.

That takes a lot of time.

I'm starting to physically feel the toll this schedule takes. Yesterday was a fifteen hours work day combining writing + TPR work, and by the end I was so exhausted I could hardly think straight.

It would be alright if I only had to focus on writing, but my work on the Perfect Run takes a lot longer than expected (reunions spill over writing time to ensure we keep a coherent vision on the game, complex scripting work, TPR Webtoon oversight...) and it's getting more intense as the year draws to a close. I need a day off per week.

At this point, there are literally fifteen times more people subscribing to the Overlord/Hundred Reigns tier than the Board & Conquest one, and that continues to climb. I would rather keep that momentum going by focusing more on Hundred Reigns.

So for now, I'm going to limit Board & Conquest posts to once per week on Saturday until things die down a bit.

It's not something I do lightly and I hope to return to a two chapters a week for Board & Conquest once things calm down a bit in 2026, but I can tell I'm going to hit a wall if this continues and I would rather keep the momentum I have with HR.

Otherwise, as usual, I'll be taking a holiday break from December 24th to the 1st of January 2026, since I'll be celebrating Christmas / New Year with friends and family and won't be able to write much during that time. I'll see if I can write at least one or two chaps during that period but no promises.

So yeah, that will be the schedule until the end of 2026 at least. In any case, I hope you'll enjoy both the Hundred Reigns and the Fourth Incursion for those reading B&C, and I will see you on the next chaps.
