Kairos June Poll: Olympic Games or Atlantis?
Added 2021-06-04 07:59:33 +0000 UTCHi guys, Kairos' first volume is coming to end soon and I will be outlining the second one, 'War of the Pirate Kings.' As thus, you get to choose one arc that will be showcased in the next volume.
1) Lost Atlantis
In the end, the Foresight learned to swim before it could fly. With the ability to move under the sea, the Foresight's crew embarks on an adventure in the mermaid kingdom of Orichalcos. Their goal? To find the long-lost city of Atlantis, and claim its slumbering treasures. But though Poseidon left precious artifacts under the sea, some of his dangerous children remain behind too...
Features treasure-hunting, undersea environments, sea monsters, and mermaids. Mermaids everywhere!
2) The Olympic Games
Once every four years, the world's nations suspend their conflicts to participate in an athletic festival: the Olympic Games! Held by the mighty city-state of Thessala and the demigod Talos, the competition is held as international tensions are at an all-time high. Will the Travians be able to form new alliances with foreign powers, and claim prizes and glory? For the shadow of Mithridates looms over the competition, ever-threatening...
Features magical sports, Pegasus races, international intrigues, gladiator fights, and mighty prizes!
Comments
Yes, as stated before, it still takes place. The volume will be multiple arcs long, so you get to choose one of them.

2021-06-05 07:12:14 +0000 UTCWell they’re written very differently. Little to no humor in Kairos for example. It’s a more serious writing compared to Vainquer

2021-06-05 04:21:12 +0000 UTCI say Atlantis purely because I’m already seeing the olympics in Virtuous Sons.

2021-06-05 04:08:33 +0000 UTCA question for those of you reading Kairos, is it up to the same quality as Vainquer and The Perfect Run? Because I have enjoyed both of those, but never got into this one for some reason.

2021-06-05 01:24:58 +0000 UTCForesight ability to swim underwater is a spoiler for us! Also what happened to scyllas quest? Will it appear in book 3 then? And lastly olympic sounds fun+more connected to the story coz after witch queen defeat mithridates would be uneasy seeing Kairos' achievements and would want to lash out asap. The subplots in olympic arc makes sense to story sequence. I quite like atlantis quest but tbh it read more like another quest where kairos will drag his team to the finish line again... A hero with the kind of crew he got takes on uncovering atlantis and its treasures and posiedons kids sounds like something that should appear later on. Just my thoughts.

2021-06-04 22:08:44 +0000 UTCOlympics sounds a lot of fun and makes fun for a new nation and a new leader to take part in. We'll have all the adventure we need with Andromache

2021-06-04 17:00:47 +0000 UTCThe Olympics sounds fun! I’m totally down for a different sort of Arch, we are going to have enough adventure with the Andromache arch

2021-06-04 15:53:32 +0000 UTCAtlantis to run away from the politics and to power up Kairos

2021-06-04 10:50:08 +0000 UTCOlympics would be amazing

2021-06-04 09:30:01 +0000 UTCOlympic games. Non-violent conflicts should be a nice change.

2021-06-04 08:52:02 +0000 UTCI think it's clear the Olympics is the better choice. We haven't actually got very many political manipulator chapters, it totally makes sense with recent events that we see Kairos work his diplomacy.

2021-06-04 08:50:43 +0000 UTCI'm 90 percent sure I'll keep the June past fragment to explore the Alchemist and Elixirs' true origins.

2021-06-04 08:35:56 +0000 UTCDoes this mean that we're not getting a perfect run past fragment this month

2021-06-04 08:30:06 +0000 UTCI say Olympic Games I want to see some more Kairos one v ones
Kyle Reese
2021-06-04 08:29:25 +0000 UTCI want Olympics becuase it sounds like a chance for Kairos to be the political manipulator rather than the manipulated as well as a chance to expand on the nations of this world.

2021-06-04 08:11:37 +0000 UTCInternational intrigues! There'll be enough non-political adventures with Andromache's quest.

2021-06-04 08:10:13 +0000 UTCThere will be Andromache's quest too yes, but first volume was forty chapters long and there is space for a few arcs in the second ;)
