Important Patreon Announcements

As the title says, there are some things about how I run my Patreon that I want people to be aware of. So let's get down to it. First off:

Only patrons that have pledges pending for a paid post will receive dropbox links. I feel the need to stress this. The reason all of my content is received via dropbox links and not posted in my Patreon gallery is because I generally don't believe it's fair for people to see content that other people have paid for (with certain exceptions like commissions). I'm also extremely strict about this. If you join or rejoin after a paid post has gone up, you won't be able to receive a link because you won't be charged for it. Furthermore, I've gained a better understanding of the Patron manager to the point that I can find out exactly who was charged for what post. This means that I can find out who is being charged for what whether you're a new patron, have rejoined my Patreon after a break, or have had a your declined status fixed after I've made a couple of posts (though this is something I'd handle on a case-by-case basis). 

This next point is the most important of this post. So important in fact, that I'm gonna give it the "headline" format:

Any patron of the "Big" tier with a monthly limit of $1 will only receive links to one paid post during the month. 

Please do not misinterpret this to mean that I'll only send one post out if you have a monthly limit set. While I'd greatly prefer that people didn't have a monthly limit set that was under five posts, I'm totally cool with it. People have their reasons for doing so and I'm happy they're a part of my Patreon at all, especially since they're still giving more for what they'd have to spend by just waiting for my content to be released on my store. What's more, the BEnchmark Stack system is meant to balance that out since, at a glance, there are some patrons who can completely dominate several voting polls with the amount of points they have. However, I can't let this slide for patrons that set a monthly limit of $1 since it ends up being a discount to my online store (which it's not meant to be). So for those who currently have a limit of $1 set, know that you won't be receiving a link for anything other paid posts after the first one. 

The next point refers to the criteria to receive a free issue of future items to go up in my store (such as the upcoming Snapzine which will feature all the content I've posted between November 2017 to February 2018). In order to qualify for a free copy of a future product, patrons need to do one of the following:

• Have a lifetime pledge of at least $10
• Cannot have re-joined or edited their pledge to a higher tier a month prior to release (this is to be handled on a case-by-case basis according to pledge tiers)
• Use stack points for a free issue after the official release (will only be useable for the latest image pack. Does not include bundles).
