I dont play these games for the story (they are all horrible), and RE was a shorter/tighter, more action focused game with less puzzles (I hate the RE puzzles). I simply had more fun with it

It's simply for variety though, not representation. I just get a bit tired of the soldier or model/goddess asian/white stereotypes. I just wanna play as something different man. I'm not in peak physical condition but wouldn't call myself fat before someone hurls that my way lol

The character art lead saw that character design of the mega obese peg-legged chick with neon pink hair and was like, “YEAH! The Horizon community is going to love this!” And that’s the disconnect I can’t wrap my head around. Embarrassing.

Much like you I'm very curious if they conveniently walk that back or if they actually take the criticism to heart. The whole roster needs to be redone. I’m honestly at a loss for words at this point when it comes to the people leading these character art teams. I truly don’t get what they don’t get anymore. The disconnect feels massive, and it’s hard to understand how this keeps happening. If they barrel ahead undeterred then this game is DoA. There might be a grand total of 5 people on the planet who actually think the character designs are great.

Forbidden West is in the top 5 most impressive games in terms of graphical fidelity, and now there’s this, come on dawg, what a waste of talent.
