Today, I (Colin) bring Hoeg into the breach for one simple reason: A proposed entertainment merger has piqued all of our interest. This time around, the proceedings don't have a whole lot to do with video games (though they're certainly involved), but instead a streaming behemoth and an Old Hollywood titan potentially on the precipice of becoming one big, bloated, unnecessarily large company. Who benefits from such a circumstance? That remains to be seen. But one thing's for certain: This deal, should it go through, will easily be one of the biggest of its kind ever seen. So let's get into the nitty gritty, including Netflix's courting of WB, Paramount's attempt to hostilely upend the agreement, and -- perhaps most importantly for our show -- what it means for WB Games' fleet of studios and IP, including Rocksteady, NetherRealm, TT, Avalanche and more.
