Recently, Cog traveled to Japan for nearly two weeks, and while it was actually his second trip to the country (he previously did a very brief media voyage there for Ninja Gaiden 4), it was the first one of any real substance. Now, every (especially old-school) gamer dreams of going to Japan; it's long been a rite of passage for enthusiasts from around the world. And now that Cog's spent some substantive time there, I (Colin) knew I had to pick his brain about his experience. So join us as we walk through the finer details of the Iron Lords' trip to the far east, Cog's experience in Akihabara and at Tokyo Game Show, what traveling and lodging was like, the interesting social mores and unavoidable awkward moments, the amazing food, and much more.
