The reason I tried it was because I had heard that Embark is made up of former DICE devs. And yes, the game has gotten better and better over time. I didn’t play until Power Shift (which Dustin refers to as King of the Hill).

So, it’s probably not going to get better any time soon. The games industry might crash, but I don’t think so. I still believe the tariffs won’t stay on forever, but it’s not like it matters now. I’ve already questioned if I’m going to get a PS6 or next gen console. I might just switch over to PC.

Hell, this comment that I'm posting right now is about to be annoying. But if people weren't outspoken about the franchise's good qualities, I don't think it would have gotten this far. The series has come a long, long way from the original Trails in the Sky. It's come a long way for Cold Steel as well, being a fairly low budget PS3 JRPG. All I can say is, the series has a lot going for it, if you can withstand the evangelical fanbase. Anime slop 'n all.
