Hey Fellas, Legendary film director Martin Scorsese on multiple occasions said that Marvel Movies aren't cinema, they're something else; more akin to a carnival or other spectacle. Whether you agree or not, I think its an interesting framing of what's happened at the box office since 2010. But I also was reflecting on how this applies to games. Such a large percentage of revenue is generated by the "Sinister 6", and other live service + gatcha games. In both industries, there is a growing sentiment that the "art" segment is shrinking. Narrative films don't get shown on screens where Marvel dominates. Good games are suffocated by juggernauts like CoD or Fortnite. What do you guys think of this elaboration on what Marty said? Greetings Mermaid man and Barnacle boy. I was initially interested in the rog ally xbox edition but since there isnt any native Xbox game support, im left with being unable to revisit old titles such as fable 2 and 3 (despite them not being the greatest but still fun to this day) without depending on either xcloud or repurchasing an Xbox console since selling my series x last year due to tight funds at the time. Should I just wait to see if Microsoft revives said fable games or are they unlikely to be revived due to licensing or other constraints. I will set my volume to wumbo and hope you both have a great day! P.s. not even the pc version of fable 3 is available anymore

what's up Destiny Dukes, This one is aimed at our Iron Lord but I guess you can chime in as well Matty. Forbes' Paul Tassi wrote an interesting article on Tuesday about the new Destiny mobile game cannibalizing D2 player base which had me thinking; is this another nail in Bungie"s coffin? While the game may be a gacha it does have features that the player base have been asking for like i don't know SPARROW RACING, request that bungie has ignored. With Marathon already on shaky grounds before launch and the Player count falling off (around 30,00 on Steam as of this Post.) are we seeing the Final Chapter for Bungie and Destiny 2?

Hey Dukes, There hasn’t been a lot of big news about Saber Interactive but a ton of small stories. It seems like Saber is truly becoming the king of AA. I know they have their small indie publishing arm and their vehicle games but else where they are killing it with license ip. Hellraiser previews while demented have been pretty good, Toxic Commando previewed pretty well and seems like a proper WWZ successor, and now Turok Origins has been announced that it’ll also have a 1st person mode. They are publishing Painkiller this fall. All of this in addition to Space Marine 3, an Avatar Last Airbender game and a Hasbro ip. All in addition to KOTOR remake. I want your guys opinion oh what is Saber able to do differently from other teams that allows them to have so many projects in the oven and while not all being 10/10’s most of them seem to be quailty at least. Do you think they have what it takes for the Kotor remake? Thanks and keep up the good work, Steven.

Mornings dukes, I have finished KCD2 and the brushes with death dlc, took me 120 hours and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I know it takes some getting used to but when Henry is level 25-30 with most perks it is pretty damn fun talking my way out of crimes or wiping out groups of enemies. The characters and writing in this game are amazing, are we putting this game in contention for game of the year? Have a nice ride through the countryside with Pebbles kind of day.

Gents! With the early hopes of the Activision purchase leading to the revival of some underappreciated studios like Raven or Toys for Bob getting to run back some classic or smaller franchises instead of grinding the Call of Duty wheel seemingly dashed, what do you think of Microsoft licensing some back catalog franchises they have no plans for to smaller devs on gamepass? I dream of Xbox arcade level titles from small indie devs in long dormant franchises like Rock N Roll Racing or Afterburner.
