I dont think enough credit was given to the voidout mechanic. The first time I was eaten by a catcher in the mountains and was so surprised that it changed the terrain for the rest of my playthrough.

2025-07-17 21:23:11 +0000 UTCQuick note on what Colin said on wildlife. He states close to the end that presumably all wildlife is extinct, but it's in the very first cutscene of the game that you see birds and deer fleeing from the time fall.
