2025-06-27 15:56:36 +0000 UTCGene is so right about PC Gamer being worse than Kotaku now. I had a subscription to physical PC Gamer for 22 years and accidentally let it expire. When I read their online article shaking their finger at Nexus Mods for not banning a mod to Oblivion Remaster changing "Type 1 and Type 2" into male and female, I was so glad I let my subscription expire. Then again years ago their review of a Medal of Honor game said how gross it was for trying to empathize with military personnel...so they were on their way to the crap bin then too.

Gamespot often seems to have lower scores than the other mainstream outlets. I wouldn't have gone to read their review if I didn't see how it was so much lower than others on Metacritic. So they got a click out of me for that.
