This Friday, Habroxia Physical Collector's Edition Goes On Sale!

Hello! I hope this brief missive finds you well.

As teased during last week's episode of Sacred Symbols (and Constellation... and Sacred+...), we will finally be unleashing our custom physical SE for Habroxia this Friday, June 13th. The store listing will go live at 3p ET that day.

For the uninitiated, I (Colin) co-own a quaint Canadian indie studio called Lillymo, and Habroxia was our second game, first launched on PS4 and Vita way back in 2019. It's an arcade-style space shooter in the NES style (our typical fashion), and we love it enough that we followed it up with a sequel, Habroxia 2, in 2021 (with more to come, but we'll worry about that later).

At more than 36,000 digital copies sold, Habroxia remains our best-selling game to-date, and we wanted to celebrate it with something special. So we have! Habroxia's PS5 physical SE will cost a mere $40 USD (plus shipping), and comes with custom NES launch-style box art and a full NES-style instruction manual, all created by my brother (and Constellation host!) Dagan Moriarty. We've also included some postcard art, stickers, and a hand-numbered certificate, and when we roll out the store listing on Friday, we'll have full details and pictures for you to peruse.

You may recall that when we launched our first fully-custom SE for Super Perils of Baking back in 2023, we opted to publish a thousand copies. Those were sold very quickly, and left some people in the lurch, which we felt bad about. So, I upped the ante and fronted the cost of 2,000 copies for Habroxia's physical SE on PS5. Will they all sell out? I have no idea. But consider this post (along with the podcast mentions) your warning that the listing goes live soon.
