Constellation, Episode 122 | Manners and Etiquette, 1 Gorilla -vs- 100 Men, Public Restrooms

Podcasting is a little like cooking. No matter how many times you prepare your favorite dish, it always turns out just a little bit different. Sometimes, everything comes together perfectly and the meal absolutely sings. There's no real explanation for it, just a combination of recipe, ingredients, experience and technique all somehow harmonizing seamlessly. Beyond effort, intention or skill. Magic, really. Today's show hits like that for me. Probably my favorite episode of the year so far. Brad and the three LSM Moriartys gather around the family table and proceed to chop it up (cooking pun intended) with fun topics and heaping helpings of silliness. I think there's plenty to savor on today's menu. Absolutely delicious, if I do say so. Enjoy!

Like a fast food worker goes home smelling like french fries & burgers, I imagine that a bathroom attendant must go home smelling like piss & shit. Not ideal.

You can't risk a butt-sip of dirty water. You can't.

Micah busting Colin’s balls has got to be one of my favorite things ever

Glen Yelenovic

“I’m in here,” had me cracking up. We’ve all been there lol

Stephen

Very surprised that no one brought up courtesy flushing and how no one seems to do it. They want the whole restroom marinating in the stench.

Serial crop dusting Harry Potter actor ManYou’ll AssSniff

Brad, Dustin and Colin in a bed together.......to think Colin doesn't like co-op games 🤔 😅

Derek Alcott

Peak Constellation! 😂

Nicholas Perfect

It ultimately comes down to the wrong people choosing to have children to raise.

Man I am so much like Colin. Especially when he talks about being overtly friendly in public just to set a standard. I’ll do the same thing by saying something passive aggressive too. It pisses my wife off because she just wants to be completely passive and not draw any attention to ourselves. But these people need to be checked. Brad is right tho. It’s getting worse. I know him and I live in Orange County and a lot of the youth here are spoiled brats. A lot of the old people are rich and disconnected from reality. That may have something to do with it.

Tanner Denso

Micah, you are dead wrong on the "no Santa Claus" thing. It gives them a sense of wonder around the holiday besides religious significance and becomes hilarious later in life once they're old enough to understand he doesn't exist

dead again

I think if you coordinated 100 people into a 10x10 formation and had them sprint at the gorilla it would simply get trampled to death. If they don’t take him out after one pass, then just keep going back and forth.

Trill Spencer

Micah growing up a JW and telling how she grew up without the fear of anything is quite funny.

Aaron

It’s funny Colin doesn’t get he’s the rude one in many of these situations lol

I swear to God this episode is the gift that just keeps on giving: On the subject of farting out of your dick: I have done this. In January 2011 I had an L2 through S1 lumbar fusion. I was 22 years old. Just lucky like that I guess. Anyway, I had the surgery, and in the doing, they placed a catheter, (I found myself functionally paralyzed from the waist down,) and in the end, I was grateful for its existence. When they finally removed it two months later, it introduced air into my bladder. When I was finally able to pee, with great difficulty (a first in my life), the air escaped and the aforementioned occurred. It was an incredibly strange sensation… and yet, kinda incredibly satisfying on some level? Like scratching some internal itch? Now that I’ve made this nice and weird, you beautiful people have a wonderful day. This was a great episode of Conny.

Personally I think graffiti and tagging trains adds a lot of character to a city. Whenever I visit NY I and see the graffiti I feel at home again. The pristine clean downtown in my city is boring as fuck.

Bogey

By far the funniest episode I've listened to! The banter, jokes were absolute cinema!

Kasual7

I am crying 😂😂😂😂😂

So my wife has worked with Gorilla and chimps for 6 years as zookeeper. Things I've learned that will factor in: Gorillas are lazy and are low energy because they only eat plants, Male gorillas are major bluffer and don't want to fight, they have weaker hearts with majority of males dying from heart disease, and a human can easily out run them since they are knuckle walker. Take this information as you will.

Gonna need to issue a stand down to Colin on this one, the entire take about the Walmart receipt checker is bonkers, glad Micah was there to push back on that lol

2Blurry2Bigfoot

Really fun episode. A+

Stewy108

lol, play dates. No wonder we have generations of kids that have no people skills and can’t get off of their momma tit. My parents didn’t even know where I was from 9am til 5pm by the time I was 8. I was out biking, swimming, fishing, going to the movie theater or playing video games with friends that I made. Glad my kids got their personal freedom when they were young, paying dividends now.

Michael Thew

Exactly. Nobody says shit. Not even on the bus. Bus driver included. I'm in west Philly.

Russell Robinson

I would love to see a retrospective on the parenting conversation when and if Colin or Micah have kids. Their views of how modern day kids exist in our world and how to parent them shaped on the few random moments they see them in the community is interesting if slightly misinformed.

Davario

Hearing Colin’s blow by blow of fighting a gorilla is literally the reason I subscribe to last stand media. I am screaming with laughter. This is peak content. I will pay extra for a gorilla and other simian-based MMA podcast tier

Saint947

Love you col but there is a direct correlation between the more money you makes the less empathetic you become.

He’s touched alright we all know that

FlynnTaggartGuy

Why did it matter that the old lady was black?

Jimmer

This was a great episode.

Tommy Timmy

Colin needs to be touched because he’s clearly out of touch on certain things.

Bryan Lozano

One of the best episodes in a while!

I hear the part about a mom not disciplining their child and I think of Grandad in the Boondocks “you ever try… beatin’ his ass?”
