I had the opposite experience of the write-in about Dragon Quest 11. I really really liked the game, and I progressed all the way to that sea monster boss. I put about 50 hours into it. I was using a guide by that point to make sure i didn't miss important items. But then I realized that I was only 50% of the way through the game, and I just quit. but I did enjoy the 50 hours I did play.
