Hi Folks. Ee'll cut to the chase. The latest chapter will be delayed. The rig Pablo3000 uses to develop renders is dead. Based on initial inspection by DarthRenton, it looks like the liquid cooler burst and killed the CPU. Fortunately, the hard drive seems unharmed and intact. But, there is a strong indication that we may have lost a ton of work-in-progress renders and animations. We do not know the extent of the damage, but will update you all once we have the ability to access the hard drive.

The rig is still under warranty and will be repaired by the manufacturer. So cost of repair will be minimal. The rough part is the timetable. At the minimum, we are looking at a 14-day turnaround. But that is highly unlikely given the current worldwide logistics issues, and the time of the year. It will probably take longer.

The team is looking at different contingencies. Our next steps will likely be dictated by the manufacturer's diagnosis and the timetable they provide. Once we know, we will enact measures right away and inform you all. In the meantime, please bear with us. Like you, we are frustrated and disappointed by this turn of events.
