What is your opinion?
Added 2025-02-06 16:00:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone!I’d like to get your opinion. A while back, I did a poll about whether to include story spoilers while working on the Savage comic. Over half of the voters preferred no spoilers to preserve the experience of discovering the story through the comic itself. However, I also want to create a way for fans who enjoy my content to participate more in the story’s development. This would inevitably involve spoilers for future ideas, and I don’t want to ruin things for those who prefer to avoid them (I also think it’s more fun for you to discover things in the comic!).
My idea is to create a new tier on Patreon for this purpose. Through this tier, I’d use Patreon’s chat feature to discuss the story, share images, or explore ideas you might have as I develop the plot. I’ll try to talk a bit about the direction I’m taking, but I won’t reveal 100% of the details—as I mentioned, I want everyone to enjoy the experience when the comic comes out. Even supporters of this tier should get to discover the story organically.
For the pricing, I’m thinking of $12.50 USD. I set this amount partly due to Patreon’s fees, but I’m not sure if you’d consider this affordable—it’s more of a base price for now.
What do you think of this idea? If any of you are interested or have thoughts, please share them in the comments! The goal is to foster interaction, especially with those already supporting me here on Patreon. That’s it for now—I’d really love to hear your opinions

I confess that my approach isn't very different from what was mentioned. Could I think of something more? Yes. As for the prices, I might reconsider, but I wanted to get a sense of how many people are interested.

I would just make sure you set guidelines so that participants don't think that they control the story just because they pay for influence.

It’s double the normal subscription and all you get is future insight on future work. In my opinion, $8 would be better since it would mostly be talking about sketches and looking at line art. Unless you have a different approach?
