A gorilla is the first animal that came to mind with that fur pattern. Or with that fur colour, an orangutan.

2025-01-12 22:26:00 +0000 UTCI noticed the lack of chest hair poking through the tears in the shirt and thought maybe you had missed a detail. Now I see that it is deliberate. I love your close attention to detail and how you use it to show the transformation across panels. From his emerging hair patterns, it looks like he has a back covered in thick red-brown hair. Maybe if he grows chest hair, it will be a different colour? Like how a deer's belly is a different colour from its back and legs.
