His dad( who lives in natzi land) would be considered a hero in the normal world for fighting natzis but a villain for doing the same in natzi world.

Because yes, in our world you shouldn't stop fighting against injustice, but in their world it would quite literally be the equivalent of tony stark fighting against the entire Nazi Justice League and the whatever billion amounts of Nazis. He gave up for good reason; he wants to protect people but he can't change society and even advocating for change would have you killed because Nazi. There are plenty of examples of real life people and characters who choose to be sedentary because they enjoy the status quo. The Dragon doesn't strike me as that type.

Even Peacemaker didnt know that and literally nobody in that whole universe except his sons knew that info including the Vig from that universe so we can't fault our Vig for not knowing something that not even the rest of that entire universe didnt know
