2025-09-30 20:24:56 +0000 UTClupa and roshi's reaction to the episode ending is so funny 😭 it's even more funny considering tanaka interrupted yoshiki and hikaru's gay little outburst instead of waiting for them on the shore after sunset.

2025-09-30 09:49:54 +0000 UTCIt's interesting to see how Yoshiki and "Hikaru" have both grown throughout the season. I think it's more obvious with "Hikaru" because he's learned to empathize in ways that are so beyond how he was behaving in the early episodes. I initially thought that "Hikaru" was becoming more human, but I realised that wasn't quite right after a rewatch. I think it's more that "Hikaru" has begun to learn shame, and feels ashamed of what he is and feelings/instincts he can't control (sound familiar, Yoshiki?), whereas during the beach scene we finally see Yoshiki begin to let go of shame that he's been holding onto his whole life (which I think gets mistaken as only being selfish). I think it's a really beautiful contrast, and the adaptation has really enhanced scenes that I already loved from the manga.
