2025-09-18 13:30:57 +0000 UTCIdk if this explanation is canon, but I saw a comment before that blasters have different grades of power/penetration/etc and Storm Trooper armor is proficient against lower grades, while anything higher grade is made illegal by the empire to limit its use against them, for a rebellion though that just means you know exactly what weapons would work against them. Idk that the show creators intend that with different blaster fire having different colors. Cool if canon though! adds to the whole "the empire's hubris was part of its downfall" kinda vibe

2025-09-08 05:47:02 +0000 UTCElizabeth Dulau (the actress for Kleya) said in an interview I stumbled upon that Kleya didn't see Luthen like a father, because that would imply that she had forgiven him for what he participated in doing to her people. She hated him for that, but she also allowed love to develop and coexist with that hate as they fought together against the Empire, seeing the lengths he was willing to go for that goal. Her being able to cry for him and kiss him on the forehead felt to me like she was finally letting go of that hate because he was gone.

So better to have than not, cuz you could be saved if you get medical attention. But if you get shot and no armor then you're extra crispy
