Is something that will be very true later on in the series. As a manga reader who finished the series already. His comment resonates with me because it's how felt reading the Manga. Especially later on in the story when Marin what's to cosplay another certain character from a certain series. I'm being as vague as possible to avoid spoilers. Manga readers will know what I'm referring to.

The premise is straight up the Ouran High-school host club with a girl dressing as a guy as the M.C.
