2025-05-16 23:58:20 +0000 UTCDuring Nora torture in the game, we saw Ellie was struggling with her inner demon and actually feeling guilt/ rage at the same time and that made me feel kind of uncomfortable + guilt. In the movie version all I saw was a teenage girl with anger issue and no remorse of her actions. The lack of emotional impact was huge.

It almost feels like they couldn't think of another way to write Ellie torturing Nora to get information Ellie Vs. The Scars was so short and jarring - We moved from (Okay this problem goes back to what I think Lupa brought it up or Roshi with the show not wanting to hurt animals) The scene of Ellie getting captured being cut entirely - At first I had no problem since I thought Ellie & Dina were going to have a full mission together but that doesn't happen - Instead they get overrun and are saved by Jessie - We then immediately move to the Scars interaction which was entirely too short. It also ends with Ellie immediately sneaking into the hospital and finding Nora with the speed - I'm sorry but if she was going to sneak then give us a full stealth scene in the hospital of her avoiding dogs and avoiding Patrols For the sake of giving the show credit - I do like other scenes of factions (Not this episode because it's used to introduce the spores) Here's my thing - This game will be two seasons so why are we rushing shit with THREE DAMN SET PIECES IN ONE EPISODE? There's no time to breathe with each set p Now here's the thing. Spores Vs. Tendrils. The show was doing so good showing how dangerous Tendrils could be but then we get spores anyway

Even "From" had more realistic/worn clothes and they got supplies periodically/new people every few months or so. It is wild how trash this shit is on so many levels.

2025-05-14 15:32:16 +0000 UTCSomething is off with the show last few episodes and I think it’s that they haven’t made Ellie’s character upset enough. Like there’s no rage, this is supposed to be a revenge mission. The torture scene with Nora just fell flat for me.
