2025-05-12 10:32:12 +0000 UTCbased on what her friends said and the fact that they had cameras set up in the house and were already on live: the plan was to get joe there to the beach house, but it was to kill bronte not clayton. clayton messed it up by arguing with bronte instead of just turning on the cameras and hiding in the cut. joe was supposed to come in and find her alone and confront her on leaving him and then kill her for it and they would catch him in the act, stop him before he does it. but by clayton being there and fighting bronte when joe walked in, clayton became the target. we know joe wasnt going to kill bronte at that time as he had no reason to, but in their crazy minds "well, you left him so he has to kill you. thats why he killed everyone else" even though there is so much more to it. they so didnt watch seasons 1-4 lol
