Because Lestat could have easily not turned her. He selfishly did it to placate Louis, but being that he had both the power AND the knowledge, it is ultimately his fault more than anything. And I honestly why should we care about Lestat’s abandonment issues at this point? He was manipulative and a liar before Claudia even arrived. He brought a lot on himself.

i truly did not like most of the things he claudia has said and done. she has no idea of the troubles and time spent between les and lou… she is upset at les so much when lou is the one that begged him to turn her… lou started making his existence about her and leaving les out of a lot of his life even tho he told him he’s sacred to be abandoned.. idk i just don’t like this “blame it on lestat” attitude she has

Yess credit to Anne Rice. The show adaptation is actually a different direction but still true to how she wrote.

I haven't even finished the episode. This is such a beautifully and well-written story. The author is utterly in tune with how to deliver a story, how to write dialogue for complex characters, especially ones undergoing trauma and years of living beyond what their minds are capable of. The way they speak, the way they act, the way they present themselves and the little cultural vampirical things they talk about. People who write like this should be given all the money a country can offer and more, to project their magnificent visions onto the rest of the world and dazzle people with their creations.

So like…. what if we got the finale today 👀

I don’t think lestat lied about his age everything he said seems coherent to me I don’t get why sheera thinks he is lying

Wsgyan

I don’t think they can kill him yet :( he’s so much older and more knowledgeable than them. I wish they stick around for a couple more hundred years and then do it because I get the feeling he’d let Louie get away with an attempt but not Claudia :( i also feel like what Louie is doing to Claudia is not right, if he knew lestat is that obsessed with him he should pretend to dislike Claudia so lestat lets her go. She didn’t want any of this, why is she being forced to watch Louie being abused :(
