The pacing in the manga was pretty bad before the real story picked up but 11 weeks is almost 3 months to not even really strike at the true tone of the show. It's still good, but not "Sakamoto Days is one of the best action manga ever put to pen" good. And that's not even talking about the animation

The manga has amazing art and super dynamic action and all of that is completely lost in this adaptation. The show is fine in a vacuum but knowing how much worse it is than the manga will piss you off too.
