Original Story Plot ideas

Just wanting to get some of these thoughts out.

My current plan is to have it be a smuggling story for the first book. If it becomes a series, then I can get going with a deeper plot, but it is good when doing a story to establish the world as it currently sits. To set the status quo and get all the pieces in place. Start small, build towards something bigger.

Health update

Figured I should give an update on my health.

Back is doing better. Still usually rather tired due to my sleep not being great quality, but it is also getting better and I am at least sleeping long enough.

I have made good progress on the Hogwarts chapter. Got two sections done with one to do to bridge to the shopping chapter which will drop a TON of things into the story for the school year.

Writing that first scene with Tanya made me tear up a bit near the end. I like being able to draw out these emotions in myself, and I hope you all can feel it too. Means I’m getting to be a pretty good writer.

Chapter 2. At least the WIP. Had no internet while waiting at the Chiropractor so got a decent chunk written since I couldn't work on the Chamber of Secrets chapter I wanted to as the version on my phone was out of date.

Personal Update

So, just some updates on a more personal nature. 

First off, woke up last week to massive pain in my leg along with it feeling so cold. Went and got it checked out and my spine was pinching my nerve. Doctor gave me some meds and I've gone to the chiropractor, but it is still not the easiest thing to get around and my sleep has been shit because the pain wakes me up.

First chapter of Chamber of Secrets. 

Since this is looking to be the solid winner and I want to get started on writing the next chapter of something, I have begun plotting out the summer. No real words for the story yet, but better to have something planned than nothing at all.

Edit: Lucius Section is now written. That was fun to write. I think I'll keep that as the last section. Feels appropriate to end the first chapter on that dark note.

January Chapter

As I mentioned, my goal is publishing at least 1 chapter/month. I got the next Chapter of Jedi Tanya done. Getting it through editing now. Looking at the poll, looks like I will be starting Chamber of Secrets for next month... though there is a slim chance I could publish 2 chapters this month and February becomes a 'free' month where I can publish a chapter for any story.

An attempt at a Sonic Crossover

This is the start of a first chapter based upon some Tanya and Visha artwork some Tanya artists posted. I might mess with this a bit on the side. I have a plan for this story. Jedi Record 10: Trial of Spirit

Already 1700 words in. I  aim for a minimum of 2000 words per chapter, so I’ll hit my minimum no problem. Not sure how long this chapter will be, but it is feeling like it will be a meaty one.
