Yellow jacket is legit the mastermind of this whole place. Think about it: 1. The radio would never have picked up signal cus i don’t think this place is in the real world. And since yellow jacket runs the place, he can just troll through the radio, so our radio wasn’t actually picking up signals from another radio with a random monster on the end. 2. Every monster was apparently a human that turned immortal by “sacrifice” so the sacrifice had to have been sacrificed to SOMEONE. Yellow jacket= The Devil 3. He ONLY appeared in physical form cus of the song. A song where Jade and Miranda remembers everything and the children appear. Which means the song must be the start of the ritual, and after which him, the Devil appears. 4. Judging from this, Miranda and Jade were part of the original town folk that turned monsters. Jade being the civil war soldier veteran, and Miranda someone else. But were the only two who objected the ritual, and became “immortal” in their own way through reincarnation to stop this madness. 5. Every single person here are outsiders, and Jim was an outsider with insider knowledge, so the Devil had to take him out. Using his few seconds of physical form to kill him. 6. All the monsters had a “routine” at night according to Randall, so checks out that the monsters were the original inhabitants of the place. 7. Going off track, but Tabitha’s old memory showed smiley RUNNING!!! so walk-only was a lie, the talismans are a joke, this whole thing is just a game/ feeding ground for entertainment for the monsters. Season 4: Julie is an important information gatherer from the storywalking. Jade and Tabitha are the only ones who can free the children. Something gonna happen to Victor and his dad at the finale where they will be buried next to their family. And Victor’s poetic save-everyone-death in this hell he calls home. Randal has the things that killed the monsters in his head in the shape of cicadas. What if the monsters could actually eat him cus he means temporary death to the monsters?

It felt like we couldve built that satellite in episode 5 but instead we kept revisiting the same arguments or kept silent all season long. This might sound crazy but I think the three people chained up have unique powers to stop the monsters and a way to leave. Because the worms did kill the smiley monster and that thing was in the old man that was chained up in the ruins. Then Julies abilities is going back and to time but we do not know the other girl abilities. I think Randal cannot die like the old man. But somebody like Boyd needs to cut him and use the worms on the monsters. That's why there were chained up to make sure they cant do any thing to prohibit them to use their abilities.

I also think Jade and Tabitha are the first reincarnations that have been able to become aware that they are reincarnates which might be what made him come out right away. Idk what the monsters are but I had been thinking maybe they, or at least the guy at the end, is a fae? From my knowledge they fit some categories of their situation. I knew they could generally take on a human form and could be malicious to humans and could create their own realm, but when looking it up I came across "unseelie court" and apparently it's like a folklore organization of evil fae that also like to hunt at night, assault travelers physically/mentally/emotionally and more This probably isn't what they are but I did find it interesting that a lot of the things seemed to align.

Doesn't really matter when Tabitha was born. We already saw Julie time traveling, and Fatima already thought she was pregnant with something before Smiley even died. Plus in most real life religions that believe in reincarnation there isn't anything prohibiting the idea of someone being reincarnated into the past. Your past life is just the last body you inhabited but it could have been someone from the future. Time is just an illusion, an idea that even science is coming more to agree with.

It could be; this show is a pot of supernatural stuff, mixed with reincarnation, time travel and possibly alternate timelines. Sheera brought up a good point with the age gaps despite roshi's argument. My best guess is that this whoe town is actually a mix of different timelines mixed together, each with a different result: 1. One where we have the monsters walking around. 2. The forest where the presumed horrors are (reminder, that those worms martin had can kill the monsters). 3. Possible 'management team' led by the MIY. They r prolly the ones doing phone calls and the whispers in ppl's minds like elgin and sarah. 4. The cast that reside in the town (lets not forget the cabins where the team found food). I wholeheartly believe whatever is in the forest opposes the monsters to a certsin territorial point, simply because there are moments in some episodes where at night u hear the monsters screeching. They only did that when they transform and face the team. What else is there that forces that to happen. Sry for text wall. 🙂

Miranda died when Victor was around 10. If Tabitha was born shortly after that, then yes she is in fact Miranda reincarnated. Victor is probably 53 (the age of his actor) based on his looks. Tabitha looks younger than Victor. It all tracks. I saw all this when it originally aired and was floored. Elgin should have taking Sara's word that the voice or whatever doesn't mean them well. Yes, Elgin was right that Fatima wasn't hurt but point stands that she was held against her will and forced to give birth to a damned creature. I don't think the boat theory is too far off. Boyd had said that his boat was missing in the pic that the camera had taken. I still don't completely trust Donna, only because she is the only person we don't actively see a backstory for. Plus I still think it was important when Tabitha went to the real world, she was listing off people's full names to Victor's dad, but then she didn't know Donna's last name. I just don't think they'd include something like that for it to not mean something.

Okay so my question is they failed the first time to stop the people from sacrificing the children. That led to the towns people being allowed to live forever. Whether they were tricked and didn't know that they would be monsters or didn't care the fact of the matter is that they still live forever. Now jade and Tabitha also in their own way are living forever. They get reincarnated into a new body each time the person before them dies which in a way is living forever whether they regain all of their memories of the past life or not My questions are: 1. Is there an actual way for the towns people to live forever and if it was, is it supposed to be the monster way like most of the town or is it supposed to be like what is happening to jade and Tabitha where the towns people should have went the reincarnation route and not the monster route? 2. Why didn't the original Tabitha and jade turn into monsters when all the children were sacrificed. Is it because they were not there present during the sacrifice since they were not there to stop it? Is their child being murdered but them not participating in the ritual allows them to reincarnate but not fully turn into a monster since they didn't do the ritual themselves?

I believe the song unlocked or released that monster in the yellow, like before he could only interact through phones and the radio but playing that song physically manifested that monster in exchange for the knowledge gained about Tabitha and Jade being reincarnated and how this all started at the beginning with the kids being sacrificed and the parents/current monsters being promised immortality

Ok so some popular theories I can now talk about without spoilers: EDIT: Theory from reddit, Anghkooey is apparently an acronym or alternative for the phrase "Anchors Aweigh", which means setting out to sail. Anghkooey doesnt mean remember, the children are telling them to escape fromville via boat (we see them pan to the river in the show multiple times, Elgin looks out over the river concerned for no reason, as if remembering his dream) - The monsters are dark faeries, shown from their stone circles and EXTREME likeness to the "Fae", which are dark faeries in scottish folklore. People would sacrifice on stone circles to stay safe from them, like anghkooey children. Also, what is the Scottish word for Fae? It's "From". Fae is the same word for From. - Donna IS AN INFORMANT. When they built the radio tower in S1, she knew there was gonna be a voice back on the radio. That's why she was so upset they were doing it and mourning the choice for a radio tower, why she kept the radio tower response under wraps and made sure only her and Jim heard it, and why she keeps popping up when critical info is being discussed. I think the Frommers (Dark Faeries) or Man in Yellow have her sister hostage (she's still alive if she stays informant). Also throughout all seasons, esp S1 she is EXTREMELY against anyone doing anything to escape. - Side theory on Donna I dont think will happen anymore. She had a SPIDER NECKLACE in S1 and (and allegedly S2), so people thought she has to be a morph for the giant spider from season 1 bro.
