Also this is among the absolute worst family dynamics I’ve ever seen. Emotional abuse and trauma out the wazoo. Then none of the kids sought therapy so now anyone dealing with them has the same behavior they experienced from their father projected or directed at them.

If Greg has been made a promise throughout his life that he will attain his inheritance and has relied on that promise, therefore suffering harm - he could argue for a common intention constructive trust. More common on farm/land disputes; but it’s like, if his grandad said don’t go college because I’ll give you this inheritance, very good argument in court.

Shiv was the MVP this episode and navigated that situation expertly and all she wanted was a little bit of gratitude.

When my grandmother was in the early stages of dementia, she'd get UTIs and just completely lose almost all her functioning. She'd go from a very alert older woman to practically a toddler overnight, then back to normal once the infection cleared up (usually takes a few days though).
